Just a little smoke. Smelled like the internal Smoke Gremlin enjoyed a lovely Paradise Circus dab durin' the download.Has anyone else had their computers burst into flames after installing this patch? After installing on m
It's my understanding that those processes are for 'backup' type applications. I see that process running high on my end when a Time Machine backup is running, when BackBlaze is backing up, or when iMazing is backing up. And yes, the indexing is a part of that. Rebooting will only delay that process from happening.Just updated to 12.4. Anybody have any idea what mds_stores is doing. It seems to be in excess of 100% cpu. Also 11 copies of mdworker_shared Maybe doing some kind of indexing? Seems to be settling down a bit. No back up to 126%.
Going to try a reboot.
The clearer distinction is definitely the main goal. However since there has been a long dissatisfaction with using flags in software to represent language when the speakers may be from very different and even at war countries that just happen to share the same language in some regions.I'd argue they just made it easy to distinguish from one another by removing the flags...
Well, at first I also thought that the flags looked better, but now the look is consistent across the menu bar. I am not saying I like it, but I understand why Apple removed the flags.OUTRAGE, restore the flags!
This probably explains it. New flag emoji policy from the Unicode council: https://home.unicode.org/the-past-and-future-of-flag-emoji/Where did the keyboard layout country flags go????
I Still can't have 2 monitors via thundebolt on my 2018 Mac Mini. I AM GOING NUTS. I rarely update my OS , but because of a creative choice for a project, I needed a new plugin. The plugin works....but It sucks to eft in FCP with only one monitor. Anyone still has similar issues? Anyone has a fix?12.4 still has some thunderbolt related bugs... USB2.0 devices connected via thunderbolt sometimes drop out when the system goes to and resumes from sleep. The bug is present on x86 and ARM.
Huh, What websites are you having issues with? I’ve found the opposite, and that Safari works very well for me. I’ve even started using the tab groups, with a number of different sites. No problem getting to any webpages that I frequent, and I’m surprisingly not having any more issues with iCloud sync and all of my safari tabs across devices. So far, Safari on this release is a flaming POS. Numerous websites I visit no longer work. Safari keeps reloading and reloading. Cannot log into my bank, my 3D applications. What a frigging PITA.
