Humans are odd creatures.
We've always known that Apple was playing the long game with AI integration work, and there was a chance that timelines would be stretched as they pushed forward.
Apple Intelligence hasn't been a failure. I, for one, appreciate that Apple is committed to a great experience, and is taking their time.
The day will come when Apple's implementation is the industry standard, and other companies will want to mimick it. Have patience.
In the meantime, your Mac gives access to all competitor solutions today. Interesting, eh? 😎

Apple today released macOS Sequoia 15.4, the fourth major update to the macOS Sequoia operating system that launched in September. macOS Sequoia 15.4 comes two months after the launch of macOS Sequoia 15.3.
Mac users can download the macOS Sequoia update through the Software Update section of System Settings. It is available for free on all Macs able to run macOS 15.
With macOS 15.4, Apple is bringing Mail Categorization to the Mac. The Mail app features dedicated categories like transactions, updates, and promotions, with important emails organized into a primary section.
Apple News+ subscribers now have access to an Apple News Food section with recipes, food articles, and more. There's a new Sketch style for Image Playground, Memory Movie support in the Photos app for custom slideshows, and new emoji characters.

Why does everyone have the need to post their individual hardware when saying they haven't been pushed a software update, yet? LOL!
Same, no update here yet for my M4 Mac mini either (Canada), at 2:00 pm EDT / 6:00 pm GMT.
iPhone 12 Pro Max already updated though, and iPad Pro M4 updating now.
EDIT: 14 minutes later, and Mac mini M4 is now downloading.

Different hardware has (slightly) different update builds and some get pushed earlier than others.
Does it turn AI rubbish back on? i bet it does if they have AI rubbish in the mail part.
Surly they should realise if people are turning off the AI then they are going to turn it straight back off after the updates, it is not going to make people use it.
As bad as Microsoft pushing their MS account and making it more difficult to get around it, well almost., at least Apple does make it easy to switch off AI rubbish.

This does seem odd. It was released an hour ago? Was it pulled? I have multiple Macs in multiple locations on multiple Internet providers, none of them are finding the update.
1 PM CDT here in Illinois still no 15.4 at this time slow update cycling on their servers I guess.
Yes and because your in the UK you will not have the option to turn it off.
I was too quick to celebrate though! 😂 The download basically stopped after getting to 1,5/6,2 GB...My M4 Mac Mini that isn't picking up the update would beg to differ
