I have got serious battery drain after update to 15.4. Never had this issue before.

Since Upgrade to 15.4 on my iMac the icloudagent started going crazy. Even my iMacs fans came on - something that happens virtually never. Below the shot from activitymonitor. The Mac was started around 3h ago, so already the icloudmailagent accumulated 2:30h

Same here. Did you find a solution?

Tried disable categorization, waiting 2 days, disable accounts, rebuild mail boxes, kill process... nothing works, only closing Mail app.

Need keep app Mail open bc I use a lot the "send later" function for my work. So closing it's not an provisional valuable option.

-edit-

Finally stoped. I disabled sleep mode and let the process running all night. Now it's gone. I supose it's some kind of indexation needed to run the new categorization function properly, and my 20.000 mails (aprox) stored didn't help.
