Apple Releases macOS Sequoia 15.4 With Mail Categorization and More

Uh. It's not showing up yet on my M2 Air. I did get iOS 18.4 to show up and download on my iPhone 14 Pro though. Did something happen with the rollout or something?

Agreed. Mail categorisation is a great idea (although Gmail has had it for ohhh, 8 years?) with sub-optimal implementation, although I've heard that they've fixed it on iOS at least.

Weird, iPhone 12PM and ATV got it 10 minutes after 6pm GMT, nothing on Watch or Mac yet. Terminal script checking it every minute doing the dirty work for my ADHD

Apple Intelligence hasn't been a failure. I, for one, appreciate that Apple is committed to a great experience, and is taking their time.

The day will come when Apple's implementation is the industry standard, and other companies will want to mimick it. Have patience.

In the meantime, your Mac gives access to all competitor solutions today. Interesting, eh? 😎

I'm now getting a "unable to contact the upgrade server" notice. Seems we have overwhelmed the servers.
 
Ok now 1:45 PM CDT and its downloading on my M2 16 inch MacBook Pro very slowly even with fiber lots downloading I guess LOL
 
It showed up immediately on my MacBook Pro M4 Pro. After it was done downloading and installing mail categorization got switched on but all the categories remain empty though. So not missing out on much I guess? Lol
 
Finally, the update appears. But! It killed the os. It was installing and all of a sudden I got a message that system drive needs to be checked. After that it was impossible to boot the system. All I got is the message that Reinstall is required. Now I am reinstalling the os. Nice update! The best one! First time I’m facing this

No matter how fast the machine is, you always have to wait longer in the Preparing stage than originally stated. 😁
