Any news on the bug that does not allow me to open mail attachments when using S/MIME certificate with my Exchange account? This is really PITA....

Admittedly no version of OSX has been perfect. However, I do not recall any of this being an issue with such as Snow Leopard. Perhaps someone could explain how that once working fine no longer does several versions later?
If you don't need cloud computing, or synchronicity with handheld devices, it's hard to beat SL (10.6.8).
Still have it working flawlessly and rock-steady on one of my older desktops.

All graphic bugs are still here for me on 2016 tb mbp.. and logic x gets maxed out cpu from running only one instrument plugin.. get kernel panics if i have my thunderbolt audiocard connected when restarting or shitdown computer, coreaudio crashes, memory leaks in screensaver and other programs, spotify crashes every day. Adobe programs shows excessive wakeups reports. And have lag in some of the OS menus, screen tearing if i try play games..

Worst computer i owned. My old 2012 mbp is faster than this piece of ****

As a counterpoint to all the hate. My 2016 MBP with touch bar is the best computer I've ever owned. Still blown away by it every day. Updates worked great here, battery life has been fixed since the last OS update. Today's update fixed the crash on wake bug I was experiencing with Firefox. All good for me!

I can not see this update within my software updates? Is it only for newer macs?

Early days yet, but it seems like three-finger drag seems a bit more reliable on the new MacBook Pro 15". It seems to e dragging reliably even with fingers quite wide apart.

Maxed out 2016 still opening vlc player or preview folder with pics in it takes time and lag when it was fresh it was instant why has it gonw slower is it cos i had the betas shall i clean it

UPDATED THIS AFTERNOON-
no problems -seems much smoother
never really had any problems anyway but like I said seems much smoother and fluid.
and no problems with update download or anything related-took about 15 min
btw-also have 2016 ntb 13'' PRO

MINE ONLY TOOK ABOUT 15 MIN.
I was in an office building that has super fast wifi so went ahead and downloaded
no problems at all
So my figure of 1.5 was after the download completed. The installer was quoting about 30-35 minutes, turned out to be 1.5 hours. Was incredibly slow, at times I thought it has locked up, and now after completion, my machine is slow. Pretty disappointed. Wish there was a simple rollback option.

Congratulations on having gotten one of the good computers. Now, if that gives you enough confidence in the product, why don't you swap your MBP with one possessed by one of the "haters" and get back with us. People don't "hate" for the heck of it; they "hate" having forked over $2000 + for a defective machine.

Not returning 2016 MacBook Pro for my old 2012 Retina MacBook Pro is my regret too. Side by side trying a program this thing is faster. Run cTivo or something else alongside what you do and it begins to drag.

I used to love coming to this site, but now it's just full of non constructive complaining and whining... The comments were useful and added information that helped.

Here's a novel idea send your complaints to feedback@apple.com - You know what? They listen - They helped me out with an issue (bug) when I did that...

/sigh

Best post of the month.

This update seems to have fixed a bunch of handoff-related bugs on my 2012 15" rMbp and iPhone 7 plus. The clipboard syncing feature worked for the first time ever today. Also, the handoff apps in the dock are popping up 10 times faster... So far a worthwhile update.

So far no issues on my 13" rMBP late 13 and my 15" rMBP (w/dedicated nVidia GPU) mid 2014 models.

I've had a problem with notifications for repeating reminders since updating to Sierra. I have some reminders which repeat at the same time each day and when I mark the current reminder as completed from the notification that pops up from the right side of the screen, I immediately get the alert sound and notification for the same event tomorrow. This only stays on screen for half a second before it dismisses itself - it's as if the reminder is set for the next day and the notification fires again immediately. It's not a biggie, but it's irritating to have the notification sound going off more than necessary.

This update hasn't fixed it. Anyone else have the same issue?
