no offense but a few days ago another user made the same claim and it's really that they don't understand how the thing whole things works, right now i have an nvidia 1080 working flawlessly on sierra 10.12.5 and nvidia official drivers are not out yet, here is the proof, you just have to know how

it's always been like this, there is no conspiracy and trust me nobody likes conspiracies more than me
apple releases the update then a day or 2 later Nvidia releases the new web driver update
but the ones that know the trick don't have to wait for Nvidia to release the web driver
in order to install the update
simply modify a file
NVDAStartupWeb.kext
and add the new build #
now after you reboot the files matches the build # and the file load the web drivers
then after Nvidia releases the official version of web drivers
you can download the official web drivers and install them

i have 2 samsung 960 in raid0 hitting 6000 in reading i'm just waiting on 2 more coming tomorrow
maybe you should try to build a hackintosh
just for learning purposes

Hi,

I have new MacBook Pro 2017 without the drivers and trying to get it to recognize my akitio node. Are there additional steps I need to take for 10.12.5 to work?

thanks
