Apple Releases macOS Sierra 10.12.6 With Security and Stability Improvements

Hmm, I downloaded it and then the App Store said the available updates had changed and it disappeared... :confused: I've never had that happen before. Tried a restart anyway and am still on 10.12.5. The iTunes update worked fine otherwise.

@Salty Pirate Maybe they pulled it? I'm reluctant to install the combo update now that you don't see it either.
 
PROBLEMS! Hey all just a heads up that after the Mac OS 10.12.6 install I'm stuck in these endless "mdworker quit unexpectedly" loops... and getting these random screen black outs (lasting 1-2 seconds) on my external display (LG 5k). One of these years I'll learn to NOT install apple updates the same day/week they are released. Gahh.
 
Has it been pulled its showing on app store but says no update to install?

Same here with no update showing up in the App Store for me.
Just have the iTunes update available.
 
Aah, the bug introduction edition to get us all up and buggy so we can be saved by high Sierra. Bravo H1B's!
 
I installed on my 2017 MBP and photos app won't launch, it crashes every time, maybe thats why they pulled it?

Unbelievable apple months to test it then last min final ends up problematic great company
 
Installed the update to my 2015 15" MBP. Now my Bluetooth will not work. Did several restarts, but still no Bluetooth. So restoring from Time Machine backup now. :(
 
Oh man I'm not installing this until more people say its problem free. So glad I stopped auto updates.

Craig is clueless. The type of clueless person who spends 200 bucks on a magical healing pyramid. macOS sank like a piece of lead after Jobs died.

10.12.6 adds native (in kernel) support for Kaby Lake processors and the corresponding Intel HD Graphics.
 
And that folks is why you should wait one day after release before updating. :) Apple's quality testing has gone downhill years ago.

After 2 hours downloading OS update failed. iTunes update couldn't be identified too. How many betas later????

Wealthiest corporation and tax dodger in the world and they can't update an 'easy to use' operating system. We can add this to long list of **** Federighi is responsible for. Clueless, airhead, terrible speaker, overpaid jackass. Even the juniors Microsoft engineers offshore in Bangladesh must be laughing.
