Craig is clueless. The type of clueless person who spends 200 bucks on a magical healing pyramid. macOS sank like a piece of lead after Jobs died.They actually never cared. That's why bugs have been allowed to persist since Yosemite and Craig Federighi has been busy making funny videos for keynotes and giving himself a gold medal for taking the macOS to a "higher level".
And that folks is why you should wait one day after release before updating.Apple's quality testing has gone downhill years ago.
