Same in Sierra. There should be a much simpler way. In Mavericks it's the App Store pane of System Preferences. I don't know whether there's the same pane in Sierra.

I think you will need to install a seed configuration for the gm to get the point release betas. They should create one when the first 10.12.1 beta is released. Otherwise the gm will only get public releases. At least that's the way it was for yosemite and el capitan. …
It's probably photoanalysisd.GM installed, but those fans tho...keep blowing on my late 2013 rmbp 15
gonna reset PRAM i think
probably photoanalysisd
If we see 10.12.1 betas before Sierra release is pushed on 10/20 then we'll know 10.12 was released with many bugs.
That won't happen. But there could be more gms of 10.12 before public release.

2) Major new macOS/OS X versions aren't linked to new hardware to begin with
Just wondering... Is the 'iCloud Drive' feature in MacOS Sierra to load all files in the 'Documents and Desktop folder' in iCloud, switched off as a default, when updating from OSX El Capitan?
When you upgrade from El Capitan it will ask you if you want to turn this feature on during the series of dialogs you get right after the upgrade.
So the answer is "it's entirely up to you."![]()
