macOS Sierra's biggest change is probably the naming scheme. Aside from Apple Pay on the web (Safari), universal clipboard, and Apple Watch unlock, I frankly haven't noticed much change from El Capitan.

I don't use Siri and I had a disastrous experience with iCloud Desktop & Documents Folder in earlier beta.

You have to search for Sierra in the App Store to find it and there will be no update if you already have the GM.

Yup this is mostly what it's about for me ahaha.

Although you did just introduce me to a feature I didn't know existed, looks handy!

It's actually quite useful. Wish they would do something like that for iOS.

Do we know yet if iWork apps were greatly updated (besides collaboration)?
Has Keynote and Numbers grown up to be real apps again or are we stuck with iOS level crap apps?

But you can do that with the new storage manager:

Though gotta say I do love that new clean install feeling.

How do you get to this?

I've been waiting for a new Macbook Pro to experience a new OS. I'm still on Yosemite :(

Beautiful Icon of sunny mountain peeks. Apparently it makes the computer more efficient we'll see. Downloading...

I usually upgrade straight away, but i have been caught out too many times now, so i am going to leave it at least a few days before i upgrade.

I remember when they released El Capitan, it was supposed to be bug free as it was and update supposed to be all about reliability and efficiency rather than new features, well it had more bugs than any of Apples recent OSX releases, i couldn't believe how bad it was.

So going to leave it for a while, i was one of the ones that downloaded iOS 10 in the first hour and ended up with a crashed phone, so thats still fresh in my mind. The recent release of iTunes seems to have quite a few problems as well.

So i am not going to be an early upgrader anymore, its not worth the risk as i am very happy with El Capitan, so in no rush to upgrade.

cat "/Applications/Install macOS Sierra.app/Contents/Info.plist" | grep -A 1 DTSDKBuild
<key>DTSDKBuild</key>
<string>16A322</string>

edit: ignore this, apparently this isn't a reliable way of extracting the build number..
