What a load of crap Apple this is an Apple OS UPGRADE??? please this is just a bug fix update and a very feeble effort one to force out pre late 2009 mac owners and force them to purchase a 3 years old hardware? waooo this is the new low even for Apple!!

- Here, you can have this sandwitch for free...
- It is rubbish, the bread is not what I wanted it to be! I have eaten it anyway!
"Here's some moody bread, that may or may not cause you harm"

Not so nice now is it?

I'm just saying that software upgrades aren't as painless for everyone. Even in MacOS land they can break things and cause software incompatibilities.

Not saying I'm against free upgrades, but don't assume you're situation is universal

I discovered two things after upgrading to Sierra: 1) Huge space savings! On my 12" Macbook it saved 30GB and on my wife's 15" Macbook Pro 69GB! This is without storing anything in cloud or doing any kind of optimization. 2) Safari is flying and both Macs are noticeably faster.

Reading all the negative comments here, I was rather sceptical about this upgrade but seeing the results on two machines, I changed my mind.

Sorry, I do not believe a single word of what you just said .
Or did I miss the sarcasm ?

No, dead serious. Here is the before and after picture of my wife's 15" MacBook Pro. A net space savings of 67.5 GB. My 12" Macbook was about 30GB but I don't have the before and after picture for that.
