Another yearly update cycle where a half baked OS gets released with tons of workflow breaking bugs
Unlike IOS 17 which used a late beta build at the factory for shipping, and later had to have a 17.0.1/.0.2 patch for security and the cloud transfer bug, MacOS had a normal beta cycle with 2 RC's. It is very solid public release when shipping today. Been using it on 2 Macs since WWDC.Oh look! A new macOS patch. Neat !
Sonoma is the most stable release since Mojave if the beta cycle is any indicationAnother yearly update cycle where a half baked OS gets released with tons of workflow breaking bugs
It is RC2. Been working a treat.I kinda suspect it's the same as RC2 - since RC2 is running very smooth.
I think it is the same, since I have RC2 on my external SSD and the release from today doens't appear in the software update. Sonoma 14.0 - 23A344I kinda suspect it's the same as RC2 - since RC2 is running very smooth.
Mac mini with monitor? Not the same but a viable alternate for many. In fact, I prefer separate. Biggest downside for me is not having built in camera and mic. Keep answering the phone on the mini and crickets.I’m sad that Apple dropped support for 2017 iMacs. I’m in the market for a 24” but it’s yet to be updated.
