There are two "Tinted" settings now. You're probably thinking of the tinted icons in the original Tahoe. This new tinted setting is a different one that applies to the UI and makes it more opaque. (Unlike with tinted icons, you cannot change the color though.)I thought a "tinted look" option was already part of the original Tahoe - what the heck is this about, then?
It does and I haven't even updated...😂As has been asked before, so it will be asked again, there is nothing new under the sun:
Does Safari seem snappier?
🤣
I hate the fake borders too. I get it IF there is content behind that menu, but if there's not just flatten it and give more space.I dislike the aesthetics of the large corners and inset lines in Finder windows, etc. Sticking with Sequoia on my M1 still.
Just appeared for me as wellREFRESHED EVERY SECOND UNTIL IT POOPED UP---it's NOW available on MacBooks!
And one minute later, it appeared. My M4 MacBook Air sees the update but my M4 Mac mini does not. Strange.
Haven't restarted a single time since upgrading to 26.0.1, so I'd say it's quite stable already. I get it that lots of folks here don't like lg, but I'm agnostic as long as it's not crashing on me...Waiting for the .2 update and that's only a maybe.
I thought I’d run to update Sequoia and get rid of the TM errors… and the errors seem to be gone. In Sequoia. Tahoe looks horrible for many reasons, your screenshot included.I dislike the aesthetics of the large corners and inset lines in Finder windows, etc. Sticking with Sequoia on my M1 still.View attachment 2575688
