I've had persistent issues with Mail and Messages on my MBP M2, they are unresponsive 98% of the time with the spinning beachball every time I try to block a SPAM email.

I dislike the aesthetics of the large corners and inset lines in Finder windows, etc. Sticking with Sequoia on my M1 still.View attachment 2575688
My theory? To make it more touch friendly. Similar how they updated keyboards and key shapes before they introduced iPad - to give people time to become familiar with what was coming.

I'm still sticking with macOS 14, as macOS 15 [Sequoia] breaks too many legacy apps for me to work around just yet.

Patiently waiting to hear how big the download file is for a variety of Macs, why they differ, how long it's taking to download, and if people aren't seeing this update yet, and which region they are in.

I love .1 update season! And boy does Tahoe need a point update (or 3).
A Macrumors drinking game, hell yeah 🍻

Okay, at least notifications are not lagging, and overall animations look smooth. AND the calculator finally isn’t causing a memory leak.

My oh my, how far we've fallen here.
It's so sad.

They do not need to be doing these macOS "updates" so often.
I really wish they'd stop it and go to an 18-24 month cycle on Mac at least.

Like the features, even with the fact that I'm in the EU and have almost the latest hardware…and like this not getting all the features, but they need to get their **** together. MacOS is a mess.

It's stuff like this that will get me to use my Windows computer a lot more and even buy one in the future. I have the M1 Mac (2021) and while it still works, I can't help but feel like I would rather be on my Acer computer from 2019. I've used Windows more than Mac in my life (And Fidelity works better on Windows, not to mention I use Excel and Quickbooks) but just asthetically, it looks a lot better.

Menu bar items no longer jump all over the place when doing something on a different monitor. Also, the shortcuts menu bar animation for the little windows is not lagging slow to appear.

Still when using iPhone mirroring it takes ages to swipe down with 2 fingers to check for App Store updates on the iPhone
