Been more than 30 minutes and still nothing on my end. Odd. iOS/iPadOS updated without a hitch, but nothing. I've tried refreshing in System Settings and doing it via the terminal, but "no software updates found". Odd.

I must live under a rock: I didn't have any issues with v13.0.1 except maybe a little Safari oddity with opening tabs.
The only issue I had is losing mouse input in Retro Bowl, but that could be because it's designed for a touch screen and is primarily an iPad app.

It looks like it's better to w8 with this update. It can break things or just does not work.

Why, every time there's an update in macOS since the last 2-3 years, I have to refresh a few times, then when I finally see it, it tells me it's no longer available ? Pretty glitchy.

Dowloaded and prepared 2.43 GB installer in about 15 minutes, 10 minute install, back up and running on my M1 24” iMac. A process called mds_stores seems to be very busy eating up cpu, but thats not unusual after an os update.

I hope it fixes the issue where my Mac will not connect to the internet after sleep, even when it says it’s connected to Wi-Fi. Started happening since 13.0 and it’s so annoying having to turn Wi-Fi off and back on.

I'm in the same boat. Seeing the .1 update makes me a little more tempted.
I'm running it without issues on my M1 24" iMac and 16" M1 Max MBP. Safari issues with memory cache with many tabs and windows opened doesn't freeze up anymore. Using CCC 6.1.4 backups runs without issues. No applications unexpectedly quitting for me comparably. I don't use external displays so can't verify everything.

Can’t open files anymore.
Example: double click on an excel file, it animates the file icon like when it is opening but it doesn’t. To open it you need to open excel and use the file-open menu.

Same for photos with preview etc.

Rebooted already. Keeps happening.

After minutes when you forgot you tried to open a file it then pops up and open, while you are doing something else, causing also a distraction.

I don’t know who tests that rubbish but macOS turned into a very unpleasant unusable pile of garbage

Works for me, tried Excel and PDFs without issue

Update: 13.1 broke the entire iCloud section in System Settings.

When clicking it, it opens, freezes, then crashes.
Well 13.0 prevented me from logging into iCloud completely. I had to create a whole new account and move everything into it to fix it.

And now when I plug my iPhone and iPad, I don't see any of them in the sidebar in the Finder. Even after "trusting this computer". I hope 13.1 fixes it.

As for iOS, tapping buttons when initializing a new phone is like it doesn't do anything, until you rage tap it, wait 10 seconds and then it finally reacts.

Honestly, there are so many bugs in Apple software nowadays, I don't even know if the software team knows where to start.

I’m sure it doesn’t happen to everyone, but it seems to happen always to me. macOS really gets on my nerves.

After rebooting it worked a few minutes and back to not working.
It seems to work if the app is closed and not already open.
I had this issue since last week when I installed the RC.

Note also I have never been on any beta since I did a complete initialisation about 6 months ago to try to fix the million issues.

Have they made any improvements to system settings yet? That is reason enough for me not to upgrade yet. And the missing ability to order your preferred Wifi connection..

For me when loading my profile on signing in now I have like an odd 30sec delay where the bar is about 1/2 way across then just sits. This is on my 14in MBP.

for those who have issue with iCloud, it's related to private relay. try to disable it by clicking very fast and multiple times untill it's off. OR:
the private relay issue for me was caused by expressvpn app. If you have it, uninstall it (properly) and reboot. now private relay should work and icloud setting too.

Ummm was that not the fastest update ever? I can't remember a time in recent history where the macOS update went that fast. MacBook Pro 16" M1 Max....

It's been a while since I've done a MacOS update (Just went from a mid-2011 MBA to a M1 Pro MBP, so I haven't been able to update since Sierra)..

Does Apple still offer the Combo Update to download, so I could go directly to 13.1 without going OTA? I'd rather do a full install and Setup Assistant/Migration Assistant than have bits/pieces of Monterrey still sitting around.

BL.
