Yeah, actually back in the early OS X days you had to pay for major OS upgrades..Are there time when it is not free ever? I wonder why even bother mentioning that.
Yeah, I also noticed that. That was a little strange..Software Update is vastly better than the previous incarnation, but I still don't trust it.
The 13.5.1 package was listed as being 734MB, but upon downloading, it showed as 1.87GB.
Quite big for a singlebigbug fix.
I'm not sure how large the update was for me, size-wise (I didn't look), but it took several minutes to install. Longer than I expected. And it seemed to 'reboot' a couple of times (three or four iterations of the progress bar). Got worried for a second or two, but finally successfully completed.Yeah, I also noticed that. That was a little strange..
The update was pretty quick for me though, didn’t really take so long.
Some users might need a modular OS where they can disable the bloat they don’t need but they must eat crow because development means bloating and pingingI don't think you're truly comprehending and appreciating how massively complex software development is, particularly in a connected world, with users demanding more-more-more... and things are supposed to never break? 👀
I remember waiting in line outside the Apple Store for the annual $129 upgrade disc.Back in the day, major updates cost money.
My thought exactly. Bare OS and several modules such as cloud separate, intertaitment(tv,music, podcast, news), financial (stock, etc) and productivity(all additional gimmicks)Some users might need a modular OS where they can disable the bloat they don’t need but they must eat crow because development means bloating and pinging
that's because of the non-functional Location Services, they didn't know where to look!3.5 weeks - one bug.
The pink for the background in the toggle switches is spot on for your user nameTook a while, but at least the issue has been finally resolved 👍🏻

I’m not really sure if understood correctly, but is that what you’re looking for ?I can't find combo updaters for Ventura on Apple's site. Can anyone tell me how to locate them? I've tried a lot of searches here, but only older operating systems appear in the search results. Thanks!
Haha, yep I know right 😁The pink for the background in the toggle switches is spot on for your user name![]()
Combo updaters have not been a thing since macOS Catalina (10.15). You just need to either use software update (which works fine) or download a full Ventura installer and run it.I can't find combo updaters for Ventura on Apple's site. Great job Apple, I can now see location settings BUT they somehow broke search within System Settings so I can't find anything else
Two reports of other bugsHas anyone else found that System Settings > General > About doesn't work any more?
Not for me. Both seem to be working perfectly fine. Two reports of other bugs
Has anyone else got these bugs ?
Or restarting your computer is everything working as it should?
