It isn't fixed, and it needs to be. Crept up in a damn release candidate, to boot.Hopefully this fixes the bug introduced in 13.4 where (mostly) LG displays attached via any form of DisplayPort are no longer able to stay asleep.
Problem described here (Apple discussions), here (Apple Developer), and here (reddit).
Word is Apple has marked this bug as "Works as currently designed."
It would be great if MacRumors and other Apple news outlets publicized this problem!
M1 iMac. All good here.In Activity Monitor, show the CPU History.
Here is mine during the optimization.
+1. Is it normal? No apps whatsoeverOn both my Pro and Air, apps no longer show up under Location Services under Privacy and Security.
Can't edit location permissions now or see what apps have location access.
Anyone else seeing this?
Does it have to be re-populated?On both my Pro and Air, apps no longer show up under Location Services under Privacy and Security.
Can't edit location permissions now or see what apps have location access.

With this and burdo's confirming attachment, it's a deal breaker on the update for me. I must have access to the Location Services apps checkboxes and especially the Location Services / System Services checkboxes. On both my Pro and Air, apps no longer show up under Location Services under Privacy and Security.
Can't edit location permissions now or see what apps have location access.

Wait til 13.19 to be sureYeah. I’ve seriously holding out on Ventura and serious FOMO. i’m still on latest version (before today) of OS 12 Monterey. Depending on the responces on 13.5 I may FINNALY upgrade
Yeah I also have the same issue apparently. Doesn't show the apps that are using Location Services. I'm on an Apple Silicon MacBook (M2).With this and burdo's confirming attachment, it's a deal breaker on the update for me. I must have access to the Location Services apps checkboxes and especially the Location Services / System Services checkboxes.
Can any others confirm this not so small bug with the Settings Location Services panel? Intel or AS? Or others that do not have the bug?
Are others seeing this as well?Yeah I also have the same issue apparently. Doesn't show the apps that are using Location Services. I'm on an Apple Silicon MacBook (M2).

Yes, I filed a bug on this, but covered in a different thread: 13.5 – Location privacy broken | MacRumors ForumsYeah I also have the same issue apparently. Doesn't show the apps that are using Location Services. I'm on an Apple Silicon MacBook (M2).

For years, I've had problems with LG displays connected over DisplayPort not waking up, so much so that I gave up on using DisplayPort altogether. It's something with how LG does its power management, as far as I can tell, so I wonder if Apple tried to work around this somehow. It isn't fixed, and it needs to be. Crept up in a damn release candidate, to boot.
Yes, the entries are gone in System Settings but I still get an icon in the Control Center when apps are using location services. I tried seeing if disabling and re-enabling Location Services would fix the problem but that didn't work. Are others seeing this as well?
So I’m sure it’s a bug, right?Yes, the entries are gone in System Settings but I still get an icon in the Control Center when apps are using location services. I tried seeing if disabling and re-enabling Location Services would fix the problem but that didn't work.
Yeah, I imagine so. The clients.plist file that corresponds to that particular preference pane still exists and, when I open that file up w/ plutil, it shows all the apps that I've already granted access to location services. So I’m sure it’s a bug, right?
Has anyone that updated to Monterey 12.6.8 seen this issue?I just checked. Same issue on an M1 Mac mini.
Just tested on my 2 Macs with Monterey 12.6.8 (Apple Silicon M1 MBP + Intel iMac late 2014 which requires OCLP to run Monterey):Has anyone that updated to Monterey 12.6.8 seen this issue?
Yes, still has the description where the apps should be.So I’m sure it’s a bug, right?
Anyone NOT seeing this bug? Intel or AS?Yes, I filed a bug on this, but covered in a different thread: 13.5 – Location privacy broken | MacRumors Forums
Hmm. On my Intel 2020 MacBook Pro, no update found (13.4.1 shows as "up to date")
