Try to reset your AirPods and forget them on the iPhone settings.
This seems to have worked.
It’s just annoying that this is now at least the third time I had to do this.

When you say completely reset them do you mean just unpairing them from your iPhone?

I had to completely unlink (remove from Find my)/re-pair mine.
Like they were "[name]'s AirPods Pro" again.
I left it alone and the issue seems to have resolved itself. Will report back if it does it again and perhaps try as you suggested.

Ill try to monitor it for a few more weeks and if its the same or gets worse ill have to try the reset.
So far i charged mine on Monday and i only used the AirPods maybe in total for 20-30 mins and today in the evening my case is down to 88% left....
Hmm so far for 2 days in a row my case has remained at 77% battery life.
I havnt used my AirPods at all thought but before even when i wasn't using them the case kept draining on its own.
I truly hope its someone fixed it self?? So far its been since Monday that i charged case so sorta looks like im back on track for them to last for 2 weeks like they always did.
Might use the AirPods tomorrow and ill monitor the case further.

hey man my APM won’t update smh. any tips? also having the battery drain issue. really wish I can force the firmware to update.
I forgot them, reset them to factory, charged them etc and it’s still on the old firmware.
Hello, please did you get it to update? Mine is still stuck in version #4E71. Sound is crappy af, Bass and ANC almost non-existent, irregular battery %. Please help. I lost my APM case for a while and thought that could be the reason why it's unable to update the firmware. I borrowed a friend's and still it is yet to update. Please help.
omg I finally figured it out! I basically had to connect my APM to my iPhone and play music while the AirPods are charging. it worked for both APM and APP.
let me know if that helps. charged outside of the case while connected to my iPhone and playing music for like 5 minutes.
My APM can’t play music while charging. More like it turns off while charging. Thought that’s same for everyone?
nope. if your APM are out of the case and plugged into power, you should still be able to have them connected to your iPhone and for them to be playing music.
