any feedback in audio call? with voice isolation in voice call something has improved, i'm wondering if this update makes the things better.

The APP2 mics are awful.

Well this is slightly irritating. My AirPods Pro case now refuses to make that pleasant little chime noise when I charge it. The light comes on so I know they're charging, but no sound. The option is enabled by also grayed out in the interface:

Firmware version is the old one: buds 5B58, case 54.26.0

Trivial, I guess, but I do kind of appreciate that feedback sound, especially when laying it on a qi charger.
Same problem here. Any solution?

God,

It's me Margaret.

Can you please tell apple to give us detailed airpod update notes when updates come out?

Updated finally, I left them plugged in and far away from phone and they still updated. Yea!

WISH: Would love to be able to use Airpods/headphones AND also my subwoofer from my Airplay Denon AVR-s760

Battery drain in APP2 isn't fixed? Really, Apple?! OMFG...
Mine does seem improved in this department so far...

Also they do seem to connect much faster to any device (going back to the Mac automatically seems not possible perhaps by design).

Plus I don't seem to get anymore the case's battery info on the iOS widget.

Case has 54.26.0 and buds 5E133

EDIT: Battery info on the widget suddenly appeared as before...

Are they ever going to fix the fact that the Airpods Gen 3 case never warns that it's about to die once it loses any amount of battery health? I swear on every pair I've owned it warns me about that for the first 2 months and then never again, will just go to use them and the case was dead.

Can't get it to update no matter what I do. Neighter the case nor the AirPods are doing anything (APP2 btw).

My APP2 and Max updated on first attempt ie putting them on charge next to phone for a while. Flipping the lid a couple of time on the APP2.

Thankfully ANC seems exactly the same. Tbh, the ANC on AirPods Max seems better, but I’m certain I’m imagining it.

Your AirPods Max are faulty.

My APM have better ANC than my Sony XM4’s, which also have great ANC.
Same. I can barely hear a thing with my AirPods Max ANC turned on. Also, this latest firmware update definitely did not degrade the ANC.

I was hoping the update would fix the APP2 dropout/disconnect issue with iphones but it doesn't seem to -- still randomly disconnecting even when noise cancellation and transparency are off.

maybe you hurt its feelings? give it a little rub?

The charge sound switch occasionally is faded (can't be changed), since it is - or WAS - locked to Find my network (not sure why).

I once had to turn that off and back on. Fixed the charge sound.

Im hoping this new Firmware update (when its back up) fixes the battery case rapid drain overnight issues.
I have the AirPods Pro 2 with 5Е133 and my case discharges within about 12 hours to 0 without use of the AirPods for some time now.

This is ridiculous. I scheduled an appointment with Apple now.

I am quite disappointed with my AirPods Pro 2. I only got them end of Dec 2022.
Not even 4 months old.

Brand new directly from Apple: At the beginning pairing with iPhone worked but not with the iPad Pro. Had to reset the earphones.

Then until a few days ago the engraving was not displayed on the iPad Pro.

And now the crazy battery drain.

Sorry to hear your having the issues with yours as well.

The battery drain is definitely software related as mine that I had them from early October the battery life was superb then since about a month ago it began to rapid drain.
I can’t work out if the software issues is from the iPhones iOS or the firmware from the AirPods ???

I had no battery drain issue, until now. In researching the problem I find this thread. My APP2 is on 5E133, and my charging case is draining like crazy. To be clear, only the case is draining. The AirPods themselves are still full.

notify when left behind is all screwed up on mine now - telling me I left them when they're physically in my pocket.

So the case_battery+notify could be related...

Yep I shouldn’t have mentioned they as well that my AirPods them selves don’t drain down it’s the case that keeps on draining on it’s own.

Funnily enough, my case has been draining as well up until this latest firmware now. After the latest one, it seems to be much improved suddenly. Strange that there are so many different experiences with the same product and the same firmware. I’m happy with 5E133.

I completely reset my AirPods Pro 2 (again) and it seems now the problem is gone.
