My AirPods Pro 2 are now updated to 8B28, but the case has 80.1.28!?️

What number should the case currently have?

PS:
Do you have any experiences with what was changed with the AirPods Pro 2 with the firmware update?
My APP2 are on 8B28, went quick. The case however is lagging behind and still on 80.1.21, so it sounds like both updated successfully for you to the same versioning number.

Edit: I own the Lightning variant in case (pun intended) that's relevant.

My AirPods Pro 2 with Lightning case updated to 8B28 along with the AirPods themselves within a few minutes of putting them in the case after using them yesterday.
Thanks for the info. I've rarely had them both update concurrently, but usually not too far behind.

Live Translation needs more languages!
It needs to work in first place because right now it’s way over promised and under performing. Like, does it do what’s promised? After a fashion, I guess, not in a useful way. Good enough, send it!

I've often read that 8B28 should also be on the case. I don't understand why mine says 80.1.28?! It can't be a special version just for the EU, right? Or it depends on iOS version if connected iPhone. I’m on 18.7.2

Is there anyone from the EU here who could share info about their AirPods Pro 2 (USB-C MagSafe)?

curius how to update if i have macbook and android device
i need always reset the airpods and connect to mac

You can just flip a switch and boom RC2 is there. I don’t think it will be that different from the release.

(p.s. I’m on RC2 now and it runs fine)
Is the Battery 🔋 life better? Is their new modem firmware? I notice my cell connection goes on and off sometimes in 26.1.

I can't get my APP2 case to update beyond 74.10.0. Not sure what I'm doing wrong (if anything). The AirPods themselves updated just fine, however.

That make sense why more audio is pushed through ANC today on my APP2 USB-C way more…

Apple really love to nerf headphones ANC over time. Absolutely behaves like Gen1 and it’s not mesh as I clean them regularly but pure SW.
