Combo links?
I’m trying this right now;

sudo softwareupdate -d OSXUpd10.10.4-10.10.4

Then navigate to;
/Library/Updates/***-*****

On my Mac those asterisks are numbers. I’ve not managed to decipher them tho. (031-25780).

Weird, I got the same "Update corrupt" message as well. I wonder if it has something to do with public beta participants having 10.10.4 installed prior to the release?
I got this without having 10.10.4 beta tried at all.

XARA is a complex issue, there are several causes. However, looking at the security notes for 10.10.4, it looks like several causes have been addressed but it is hard to say that XARA is solved entirely. It is not likely but we'll have to wait for the XARA report authors to repeat their tests to let us know. It is likely some of the fixes may not fix it completely.

I'm disappointed this notice isn't at the MacRumors main page (while the iOS update is). I stopped going to AppleInsider as my first Apple-related page when they began posting almost 100% of articles about iOS, and at that time I found MacRumors still respected the Mac, so I moved here as my first Apple page. But it seems there's no interest on the Mac anywhere any more.

Multiple reboots, quitting tasks etc., isn't working for me so I'm downloading combo version manually now.

It was for a second, but then it got delegated to the side articles. Sad.

I think iBooks got some new book covers

What is Xara?
XARA is the name being used to lump together a group of exploits that use a malicious app to gain access to the secure information transited by, or stored in, a legitimate app. They do this by placing themselves in the middle of a communications chain or sandbox.

On OS X, XARA targets the Keychain database where credentials are stored and exchanged; WebSockets, a communication channel between apps and associated services; and Bundle IDs, which uniquely identify sandboxed apps, and can be used to target data containers.

Is it possible to enable TRIM on a 3rd party SSD without disabling kext signing? Or will we have to wait until El Capitan?

Go to the Terminal and type:
sudo trimforce enable

I just did it and it worked perfectly!

Slowest download speed ever... I've got 350Mbps connection at home and I've barely downloaded 50Mb in 30 or so minutes. Location Finland.
