Thanks for these, downloading much faster than from the MAS.
The combo link posted earlier is not the right one for some reason - smaller file size.

Not so far away. I just installed 10.11.4 and iTunes is still the same 12.3.2.35 and nothing new showing in MAS.

iTunes 12.3.3 update now showing up in the MAS.

They must be hosting this update on an old server sitting in a corner of their fancy datacenters.

The update already stopped a few times. Never seen this before. iTunes update is also up.

Any insights into what the Firmware update is related to, and for which devices it needs to be applied? I'm pulling down the combo update, but didn't know anything about a firmware update. Have a link to a README or notes for it?

Wondering too. Could not find any info in the Firmware Update nor details in the 10.11.4 changelog that hint towards it.

Well, these standalone DMGs contain the FirmwareUpdate package as well so that's the main difference.

EDIT: But even the sum of sizes of both individual update pkgs (OSXUpdCombo10.11.4Auto.pkg, FirmwareUpdate.pkg) doesn't even remotely match the size of the standalone dmg. Actually the OSXUpdCombo10.11.4Auto.pkg is of almost the same size as delta
OSXUpd10.11.4.pkg, and the "Auto" in the file name is also a new thing (at least I don't remember seeing that in the past). Interesting...

"This update adds support for syncing iTunes with iPhone SE and iPad Pro"

12.4 is where it's at then.

Interesting that the requirements for the iPad Pro are 12.4 and not 12.3.3 then

12.4 must be the refresh then or something else...

Looking forward to trying out the password feature in Notes. I think I might finally ditch SimpleNote + Notational Velocity which is a similar system to sync notes between iOS devices and Macs but a lot more stripped down. Notes seems to be taken seriously by the OS X and iOS design teams rather than it's previous after-thought ranking.

I now see the latest iTunes update.

So it's safe to assume that the links you posted to the combo update supercede the previous ones in the thread because those didn't include the Firmware update as part of the combo?

Do NOT update if you are running Server.

"This version of Server is no longer supported on this version of OS X.Visit the Mac App Store to get the latest version of Server."

The link takes you to v. 5.0.15

Downloading and installing those 2 pkgs should result in the same state as doing it with that 1 dmg - those pkgs are what OS X software update uses while the dmg is just the same thing distributed as standalone download.
However this time there seems to be some difference between these 2 variants - see the update in my previous post)

Yes, server should get an update to 5.1. Hopefully it won't take them long to publish it.

Thanks. I saw that as well, and since I saw "Auto", I thought something was off, so I deleted it and started again. I'm about 5 minutes from being done with the download from your second post.

Here's the Combo:
http://swcdn.apple.com/content/down...hyakz1ajyqn6dyvu2f/OSXUpdCombo10.11.4Auto.pkg

Don't forget to install the firmware update first though:
http://swcdn.apple.com/content/down...dao83g9sqz3loxwdpy41c12jrz/FirmwareUpdate.pkg

Also for faster download here is the delta for those on 10.11.3 (or 10.11.4 betas):
http://swcdn.apple.com/content/down...gdao83g9sqz3loxwdpy41c12jrz/OSXUpd10.11.4.pkg

This delta is the one I'll use because it is faster than the combo. But again remember to install the firmware update first.

Build number is 15E65.

Alternative links:

delta: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1868?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

combo: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1869?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

You don't need to install the firmware update if you use these alternative links because it will be incorporated into it.
Thanks!!

I don't know why I get excited and I always hope they add new wallpapers with each update :)))) Such an irrelevant thing to look forward to....

So no new wallpapers now and Safari is giving me plenty of BeachBalls. Is it possible that Evernote Extension has something to do with it?

itunes is a separate install, brings the app to 12.3.3.7. and the OS install is NOT the same as pb7; i just went from that to the final 10.11.4...

so far, so good (all 15 minutes of my time it)
