Updated a week ago to avoid those "Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation" while I read MacRumors articles (WUWT

). Mac Pro, with 10.11.4, shut down* on its own but didn't restart, so I installed 10.11.5.
1. Changed the name of a file, pressed return and then down arrow to select next file name to change. NOT. The delay in moving means I have to use the mouse to select the next file, a royal pain.

2. The hot corner for starting the screen saver display images does NOT work. Maybe I have to restart under Disable, then change it back to Enable and restart again.
* Actually, the display was black when I returned from another place in my home. The white power on light on my Mac Pro was lit, but the computer did nothing when I typed on the keyboard and pressed the buttons on the mouse. It was frozen. A hard shut down was done. After several minutes, the computer was restarted and behaved normally. At this point I selected App Store and installed 10.11.5.

Who on earth is writing this?
You should have been castigated (appropriately) for criticizing the author's writing skill(?).

I feel really blessed as I've never had a problem with any of my Mac's. However, I started buying Mac's 3 years ago, and I see people posting problems with computers as old as 2009. 1st, I cannot believe these computers are still running. That is a testament to Apple hardware quality.
Second, I have some theories as to why they are having problems.
The obvious one, that they have old hardware and it's showing it's age.
The less obvious one , that fewer beta testers have the same model of computer , so that it's more likely that bug unique to their hardware will not be caught.
Finally, they have a unique mix of hardware and software that is just the right combination for the bug to appear.
We should clone my Macs that have not had any problem and distribute them amongs the Apple user community. That would solve everyone's problems.
Mine is an early 2008 Mac Pro with a SSD for my boot drive, and I have 16 GB RAM.
Not all of us can afford to spend the thousands every 3-4 years to have the latest tech.
