If you've got 10.7.2 the iCloud bit should be in system prefs. I'd try turning off and then turning on again. Looks like the system prefs has locked in to the old settings.

Google has some ideas for resetting system prefs. *might* work:

What happens if you try logging on at https://www.icloud.com/

I can log in, ive icloud set up on my iphone, its just the bit on my mac thats missing, im downloading the combo update see if that helps

Ugh its gonna be a long day. I just finished updating my iPhone (took almost 2 hours). Now been trying to download these updates, but its timed out and I restarted twice already...

So my Lion Recovery Update failed like many others, but my update for 10.7.2 went fine. Is it safe to update?

Can anyone share reversioner for 11C74?

I'm using 11C73 and i'm downloading the combo but i'm not sure it is safe to just update it straight. Previously all betas required to run the reversioner before updating right?

or can i just run the reversioner included in 11C73?

just not true...

That because nobody runs out to download updates for Win...

When major releases come out, many more people than the entire installed base of OSX downloads it. Apple is just not ready ...There is no excuse for a 50 hour download time.

Come on....its time to stop drinking the Kool-aid.

Pulled ?

Did they pull it ? The update downloaded and is installing on my MBP but when I go to Software Update on my MBA I only see the recovery update and the 10.7.2 update is missing.

Is this both Lion Recovery and iCloud?

When I was trying to download via the Apple Update assistant it said both were a combined 1.24 GB.

No it is not. I just installed the combo updater but still got a message to install Lion recovery. Direct link anyone?

I tried to log in and my computer froze, oh noz :( I'm gonna restart it when i get home.
