Not seeing the Facebook sign in anywhere in Settings or in Notification Centre's options? Anyone?

Log into facebook. Once you're in, it'll notify you when there's a comment left. Don't know if that's what you're looking for, but that's about all. (This is for the desktop/laptop).

You can share to Facebook by clicking the arrow near the URL bar.

I need some help here...my MBP 2010 is stuck on the installing OS X update screen (the screen shows the App Store icon in the top and and the all grey backaround) its been saying 10 seconds for about 30 mins and nothing happens. Any idea on what can I do? I don't want to turn it off because what if I lose my data on my Mac

Much improved battery life here.

- iMessages sent to your phone number now appear in Messages on your Mac

WOOHOO!!!

Been playing with it for about 30 mins now and seems pretty solid too. Before messages would get lost, sent to one device not the other, but it all seems to be working flawless now (at first use)

Blew up my Time Machine

Made the disk unreadable, wouldn't mount it

Had to attach it to my Windows box, force delete the partitions then reformat in Mac

Backing up 1TB now :(

Power Nap for Late 2011 MBP?

In the update, did they include the power nap featuer for late 2011 MacBookPro?

just....don't

I assume we can disable Facebook integration if we want to?

I know a lot of people like that "feature", but I prefer to keep Facebook in its little box and away from the rest of my stuff. :D

That is supported! Just don't sign in... :)

Does anyone know how to get "iMessages sent to your phone number now appear in Messages on your Mac" to work??

For everyone asking about how to add a phone number to Messages:

Open Messages > Preferences > Accounts. Select your iMessage account, and then you have the option of adding your phone number.

Edit: You HAVE to have iOS 6 installed. This is what unifies your email address with your phone number.

I will not upgrade untill it is clear that I will not see any Facebook-logo anywhere.

If you don't log in, it's just in the screen when you enable FB. Anyone who's that obsessive is hopeless, enjoy staying on the .1 version of an OS forever.

in order for this to work, does the phone have to have had the ios6 download as well?
