This is the third time I swear they've said an update will fix issues with Logic UI responsiveness...

I'm pretty sure this is the first time they've said that. Hopefully it really fixes it for everyone.

Nope. The dev seed just appeared in the Dev portal without any fanfare.

Last year there were press announcements out of the blue, pretty sure that happened before the dev release.

Any sign of the Windows Boot Camp drivers having been updated? Got Win8 on Boot Camp already with the Win7 drivers in and tweaks for screen brightness etc made in the registry. Would appreciate official Win8 drivers from Apple here.

here we go again, thx for updating snow leopard as its my main OS for quite a time. I gotta backup SL and give a ML shot again if this version is finally usable...

I CANNOT believe, Safari is still sucking so much memory! I was hoping for a fix with this update but enough is enough. Have to give up my favourite browser and move over to Chrome. Goodbye Safari!

Yah, when they invent software that doesn't need any memory, you will be notified.

I shut down my macbook everytime after use, because of ssd. I hope that will fix the delay of shut down

Eh?

I just used my iMac's camera to redeem a giftcard last week.

Thought to myself "well isn't that nifty"

Didn't know it was a new feature even. lol. And I wasn't on 10.8.3 obviously.

The feature was already in iTunes 11. This update added support to the Mac App Store.

Happened the same time. There was a press release and the seed was on the Dev portal.

The full installer has just been made available on the mas (which you will need if you want to make a bootable usb)

Safari crashes a lot on me when opening a link in a new tab ... a little frustrating. Hope this update helps.

Can anyone tell me whether BootCamp with Windows 8 still requires an MBR partitioned drive and BIOS emulation, or whether it's now native GPT and EFI? (many benefits to the latter, which Windows have supported for a while now, so the present work-arounds in BootCamp are unnecessary)
