I am going to get a lot of flak for this, but safari is much faster at rendering pages than .2. 10.8.1 was pretty fast, but .2 slowed it down too much.

It's not a login problem; I too reset my password and like Nomax2000 says, IOS devices still seem to be working, but I cannot get any access to ICloud services from my mac - even through safari..

Can anyone verify they are NOT experiencing these problems?

i've updated from the app-store, and for the last 15 minutes i'm in the gray screen with the rotating loading animation.

should it take that long?

the thing is that just before restarting the computer for the update i've had a LAN failure, and finder itself was stuck canceling a 50GB file transfer...

obviously, i'm scared to power off manually...

any tips?

If it's still downloading, its because the Apple servers are probably being hammered.

My iCloud password is working fine...

It won't be downloading if it's on the gray screen. Download completes in the App Store before updating starts.

Wait, so if I'm still running Lion (10.7.5), can I download ML? Doesn't look like its a secure file only for ML users....

Macbook pro retina smc update

Way to go Apple on todays update!!!! Made my MacBook Pro Retina work the way it was suppose to. No more fan noise and no more lag!!!

its stuck on the grey loading screen, after (i think) it was done with downloading ~550mb from the store...

does this grey screen involves downloading?

Supposedly Safari was dramatically improved in the Webkit nightlies going back to November. I assume that has been merged in.

It's on-off for me - it wasn't working 10 minutes, it worked 5 minutes ago, and now it's not working. Should be fine in a few hours I guess. And hope.

Edit: I am having particular problems with external apps accessing iCloud, such as Busycal and Fantastical. iCal works just fine.

So we ll have to wait for the problem to be solved. :)

At least no need for clean install for gods shake :p
