I know that there *ARE* new NVIDIA drivers but I haven't tested performance yet. They mostly add a subset of OpenGL 3.3 features on supported hardware. PM me if you want the tech details.

Which means the OpenGL 4.x branch targets will most likely be aimed at OS X 10.9 for system-wide implementation.

On the status page for iCloud, it says this now:

Account & Sign In - Some users affected
Users may incorrectly receive an authentication error when attempting to use iCloud.

Note that I am having the same issue, but I have not done anything with 10.8.3. I just tried to login to icloud.com from a windows machine without success. As quoted above, the problem doesn't appear to be 10.8.3 related.

I ordered a copy of Windows 8 yesterday, so this is great news! I now need to decide whether I keep my current Fusion drive which puts a Boot Camp install on the HDD only, or break the Fusion and put both OSX and Win8 on the SSD.

Nope. The dev seed just appeared in the Dev portal without any fanfare.

Bet they're trying to find every bit of fanfare they have now, as Samsung seems to be in the spotlight pretty hard the next few days :p

At least, that's what  used to do. Disrupt or shift media attention to themselves when they felt out of the loop.

And now I can't log into iCloud... Anyone else have this issue?

Update: Was due to little snitch..

While what your saying may be true, I hardly think today's software update was designed to deter the attention away from Samsung.

its stuck on the grey loading screen, after (i think) it was done with downloading ~550mb from the store...

does this grey screen involves downloading?

Same for me, stuck there over 15 minutes now on my rmbp.... Resorting to iPad use in the mean time.

Some nasty graphical glitches I had with my Retina MacBook Pro and Safari (now 6.0.3) are now GONE! Finally! Altogether incl. download the update process needed six minutes here.

Of course not, not what I meant. Just saying there might be something happening tomorrow, to shift attention in their direction :)

well, after about 15min i gave up and did a cold reboot.

computer restarted to 10.8.3 - everything looks ok.

(except now i cant seem to partition my drive for bootcamp)

What is Apple released OS X 10.8.3 today, and then will release the developer preview of OS X 10.9 along with the introduction video tomorrow? That would take the spotlight away from Samsung…
