I always find "FaceTime Audio" naming is a bit ridiculous. The point of FaceTime was a video call and communicate face to face and no longer voice only, hence the name.
I know not every time people would find video call feasible, at times it may seems inappropriate or awkward. I'm okay with that, but maybe Apple should just call it VoiceTime. I know it's only naming but hey, isn't that all Apple about?![]()
i saw a lot of people asking about graphics drivers and if they've been updated. before 10.9.2 i installed the "beta" web drivers from nvidia (a workaround provided by some talented video card gurus on this forum) and after the update, the Nvidia Driver Manager told me the nvidia drivers weren't compatible with my operating system version and it was using the OS X drivers. The Cuda pane says:
CUDA Driver Version: 5.5.28
GPU Driver Version: 8.24.9 310.40.25f01
The web driver I was using was: 331.01.01b07
So seems like a downgrade (and is proven with Unigine benchmarks with about 3 FPS average slower), however, [slightsarcasm] i'm sure nvidia is right on top of this [/slightsarcasm]
Worth noting that the present version of iOS 7.1 beta still has the ssl bug. FML.
No. The bug was an apparent typo and crept into the SSL code for Mavericks.
So far it seems like since iOS 6.0.Ah got it, thanks.
What about iOS has it been there since 1.0?

I noticed after the 10.9.2 upgrade that the power button will no longer will put the 15" Macbook Pro with Retina (late 2013 model) to sleep anymore. This was working fine on 10.9 and 10.9.1.
Submitted a feedback report to Apple.
I also still have that hiccup when accessing disk utility more like a second freeze whatever you call it.
i don't have any of the other symptoms you described but this definitely occurs.
also, there is this from user flowrider:
"Just ahead of the 10.9.2 release, Nvidia released another Beta Driver available here:
http://us.download.nvidia.com/W68s84...1.01.01b15.pkg
Seems developed for the 10.9.2 final release.
The Cuda driver should be along very soon.
Lou "
havent tried this yet, but will give a go
Computer not supported...![]()
I have trust me I even called my ISP they tell me there is nothing wrong I complained to Netflix and tell me it is my ISP I tell my ISP they say it is Netflix and keep on going around in circles
SO ONE IS BEING A DICK AND NEED S TO ADMIT WHO IS AT FAULT!
Well they only had 18 months to sort it. But only bothered when someone else made it public knowledge.
The rep misspoke? It certainly happens.According to Forbes, they contacted Apple and a rep said that the SSL issue in Mavericks AND MOUNTAIN LION has been addressed.
I thought it was only a MAvericks issue?
BTW, who set up the gotofail.com test site? How do we know there wasn't something malicious on that site?
Wow, HD voice essentially using VOIP was available on cell phones and computers when 14.4 Kbps modems dialed into BBSs? Who knew.lol FaceTime audio. Woohoo!
I'm glad everyone is enjoying 1992 tech![]()
Or use a VPN. Or avoid untrustworthy networks.
We were not helpless in this episode.

The SSL bug allows man in the middle to see what is supposed to be encrypted traffic in clear txt. It isn't a back door into your OS.
But it's different in how it works and what it can do nonetheless. One could argue that is worse.
