Hang on, please some one clarify this... Is it OSX Maverick or OSX Mavericks?? Is it the place or the waves?!?!? ERRR

"Show info" works again!!
Safari goes like 4x faster than in dp2. I don't know why but it went so slow in previous version on my rMbp

Just curious, how many developer previews are released (on average) before GM? Apple is really cranking things out pretty quickly!

HAPPY MONDAY :D

Speaking for iOS I think (read: probably misinformation however somewhere near the correct information) we went through around 5-6 betas before GM of iOS 6.

At the iOS / OS X same-day pacing + so close together, gonna blow more unsubstantiated information out of my ass and guess about 10-15 beta releases by fall. :) I believe this is all documented around here on MR.

I may spew these thoughts out of my ass, but at least I apologize for them in advance. (needs to be my footer)

I would say 4 to 6. I am guessing we'll see more versions of DP3. This update showed Developer Preview 3 1.0.

I just hope they bring some iOS 7 UI elements to Mavericks. A big one would be messages. The OS X messages UI looks disgusting in comparison to iOS 7 now.

Still having wifi drops after connecting apple wireless keyboard on my retina macbook pro.

I hope Safari has improvements cause in DP2 it was horrible

Safari web content would crash on me all the time in DP2. Dell.com is a big culprit off the top of my head. In DP3, no issue with that site. Still poking around.

Yea I've experienced the same in DP2 but i'm poking around as well in DP3

Nice!

Is it me, or did the Apple Education store discount the macbook air another $50? It used to be 1199, then 1099 with edu, now it lists for 1049

Definite improvements. There was one website that I couldn't access with Safari on DP1 and DP2. It wouldn't crash, just never finished loading. Now on DP3 is jumps right to it without issue.

I believe it was meant to be Maverick's and lost its apostrophe. Thus it's not really plural but possessive instead.

Here's an interesting article on apostrophe and the USA place names
http://www.gazettetimes.com/news/local/the-case-of-the-missing-apostrophe/article_f7ec1ff0-3a52-11e1-8c54-0019bb2963f4.html

It never had an apostrophe. It is the name of a location in California, which is the new theme for OS X names.

enhanced dictation finally lets you download the file for offline use

Thats funny because I thought that was in DP2 cause in DP1 it wasn't available for download

:D I hope they keep that way
