Thank ***** for that, they fixed the mail.app / gmail inbox problem. Now I see my actual inbox, not a bunch of older messages I'd already archived!

Don't know if this was before DP7, but iCal has been improved. The year view shows a kind of heat map to indicate the days with appointments.

Anyone else notice the use of "Mavericks" in the movie iSteve?

Hmmm...

----------

This is not correct. GM = Gold Master = public release

The GM *is* the public release version, identical by definition.

I thought it was Platinum Release?

Space free after installation

After a fresh installation of OSX Mavericks, how much space is left on a MBA 128GB SSD
Does it really show a battery improvement on say MBA 2012 release

Thanks
:)

So I let you know,

I'm seeing a huge improvement on battery performance!

90% of battery left after 40 minutes of use!

On average use!, terminal, web browse and chat.

That's great!

Mav AirPlay worked with the current public Apple TV version before DP6, so no. You're wrong.

That doesn't mean anything. I can check the dev notes tomorrow at work (I don't have the login with me), usually you always have to update airplay and iTunes when updating the OS.

I swear, Apple's obsession with superlight typefaces has got to stop. They're ugly and unreadable.

I miss Apple's 2005-2008 style marketing. They had a great brand identity; they had the iPod and the Mac as their primary products, and they did them very well and actually liked and listened SOMEWHAT to us Mac users. Their marketing was brighter with the Aqua (and later, elegant plastic and subtly colorful Aqua accents on gray) and actually readable.

Yes finally finally enhanced dictation works! Also parallels desktop 9 works. I'm a happy camper!

Of course, what I was telling the other guy was that he was wrong in the "you *need* the Apple TV beta for Airplay to work with Mavericks". Because Airplay worked from DP1 through DP5, broke in DP6, and came back in DP7. All of this with the latest public release of the ATV software, so it does mean something :D

Apple needs work on making all the apps that are still rocking leather or fake wood, look like the rest. Game center still has felt, and reminders is still leather, yet notes looks like ****.

Actually some people who had DP6 with the ATV beta said that the airplay mirroring was also broken too. So we know that ATV beta did not fix the problem.

They will also need DP7 to fix their airplay mirroring.

+1

Why am I still having to copy the Chicago font off old OS disks?
