After much time, frustration, and multiple attempts, I have finally installed the rapid response updates on all my Apple devices.

Hopefully, I am now protected from future rapid response updates.

Nice! Seems like it wasn't so rapid after all.

Guys! I’m so checked out from iOS 16. I don’t care what iOS 16 has to offer anymore. It has been a total disaster. IOS has been cursed for a long time now.

Why do we have to wait until September for iOS 17? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Same here. It's failing on no Internet connection, but I am connected.

Sounds like you have no idea how software rollouts work.
I’ve been part of enough to know that things are never smooth and in 12 hours I get to flick the switch on another one, which I can almost guarantee will make 1st line wish they had stayed in bed.

Went pretty "rapid" for me. Of course, I didn't drop everything and try and install it the moment the article was posted to MacRumors.

Just tried the update again. Did seem to be rapid this time. Progress!

Got two ipads and one iphone updated in few minutes. not issues at all.
My iPhone seems to have something strange in space detection. first 3 categories are red.
Ipads show correctly instead

Same question here. Nothing aside from 'important security fixes' to the tune of like 80MB if I recall. Ran it on both phones, but curious to see if we'll find out what it actually did.

It was released on a Monday, the first day of the month. I think that's Rapid enough for all of us. All jokes aside, I think this is more of a security patch-up update. Roots & Causes!

That "unable to verify" message is misleading, the internet is just one reason verification can fail. If I have to guess it was caused by the security response not being signed by Apple for some reason when it first released.
