Apple Releases Rapid Security Response Updates for iOS 16.4.1 and macOS 13.3.1

I love that the very first time Apple rolls out an emergency security update the whole thing doesn't work. Lovely PR situation.

That said I'm in the camp of iOS failures to due "not being connected to the internet" which I very much am.

The Ventura update on my MacBook Pro worked fine but still getting the error message on iPad and iPhone.

I get "Unable to Verify Security Response" error, that "iOS Security Response 16.4.1 (a) failed verification because you are no longer connected to the Internet."

Yeah, it clearly has a bug. Tells me that im not no longer connected to internet, and due to that, it cannot verify the update… ios 16 sucks!

They need a rapid response patch to fix their rapid response feature.

Unfortunately, their rapid response feature does not work, so we might have to wait for another regular update.

I'm not on a beta. I'm running the stock 16.4.1.

Won't instal for me on my iPhone or my iPad as it fails to verify "because you are enough longer connected to the internet" which is not the case.

Nah they save up on paid testers and use public users as a mean to get feedback lol

I’m actually worried about Apple and how they handle this. Small bugs during betas… fine. But more and more often, big problems with server issues and what not. Starting to feel like Microsoft… ”Let’s do it and see what happens”
