That is just a far fetched theory... There are so many thing that have a 9 in it, or are called 9, in Germany where it is no issue whatsoever. Besides Germans would use the german grammar when pronouncing 9 that it wouldn't even have anything to do with no.

imho, its all just marketing and they decided 10 was better for some reason.
 
I appreciate Apple releasing then pulling a security update giving the bad guys a heads up to rush before it’s rereleased.

It was my poor attempt at humor. But I agree, this whole numbering scheme is more of a marketing thing.

Looks like they released it again. I'm seeing that a response is available on my MacBook now.
 
I installed the first version, experienced zero problems, never removed it. The second version loaded just fine, still no issues.
