Apple Releases Safari 14 Beta for Developers and Some AppleSeed Testers

its beta 4 now - I am thinking about making the jump as adblocker extension are not working fully when I set preview as standard browser - anyone testing here? Bugs fixed?

o The 'X' is clickable on all tabs - This is bad as its extremely easy to close tabs. COPY CHROME and only have the 'X' appear on the selected tab.
Apple will never get this right. JUST... COPY... CHROME. Its not rocket science.

I like having the 'X' clickable on all tabs. It makes it easy for me to close the tabs I am no longer using. I don't want to switch to the tab and then close it because I already know I do not want to see it anymore. This is actually one thing that annoys me when I have to use Chrome.

This is something that when installed you can't uninstall. The access to the site was down for a few mins earlier.

beta 5 fails to launch on Mojave for me. anyone else have this issue ?

crash report says "
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSRangeException', reason: '-[NSCollectionView insertSections:] Section index 3 out of bounds'
terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException
abort() called"

Update: fixed this by removing zoom plugin from both ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ and /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/. It was actually the only legacy plugin I had, so emptying these folder might be the actual solutions for anyone else who runs into this issue.
