I feel it's going to be over 2014! I'm not gonna believe Apple is gonna make "usable" OS this or next year! As Lion was a mess, ML is kinda good but still not as perfect as SL is. Nuff said.
Over 2014? I am not quite sure. SL is great, but more than 3 years?
I never worked with ML and reason is Front Row, Expose and iCloud. There is just one door to the internet and that's the browser. I don't want to upload any photos on iCloud by accident.
I work with iMovie and Aperture a lot, both aren't updated for SL anymore so this is a pro for ML.
I am excited what Jony Ive will do with OS X. Maybe not that much because iOS is the main focus, who knows.
Being honest: I want the 10.9 design in OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and of course Airplay (and updates for all Apple software I am using)
PS: I am on a record uptime, 109 days with 10GB reading per day. I think this is more than great.
I have twice tried to install the Java for OS X 2013-003 1.0 update to my early 2013 rMBP running OS X 10.8.3.
On both occasions after the update install a flashing window starts appearing asking if I wand to allow "java" to accept incoming network connections. The window flashes off so fast that neither button can be clicked.
On both occasions the only way I could stop this behavior was to restore the computer to the state where it was prior to the attempted update install using SuperDuper and a backup.
Does anybody understand what is going on and how it may be resolved?
