Nice now nothing exciting about macos 12, safari was the only real change and now big sur has it
adaptive sync excites me
universal control or whatever it’s called is probably pretty cool for people that would use it

what's so different apart from tabs being on the address bar
Hard to understand all the great experimental work in Safari, when Safari is consistently the most incompatible of the major web browsers. I like Safari, but I’m always switching to FireFox or Chrome because some website I using won’t work properly on Safari. Why is that?
I am on Monterey now since beginning and both updates. And.... Hate the tabs, can't easily drag the tabs, tabs not easy to see, can't get used to them, colours come and go are distracting, can't hit to close, clunky interface, hidden addresses, just can't get them to work as quick as before.... hate the tabs, hate the tabs, hate the tabs. (Love the Habs though. Go Habs go!)
I agree. If anything I find that FireFox is the most buggy. Stuff just stops or pages just do not render correctly.i’ve legit never encountered a website that doesn’t work in safari in at least ten years i want to say?
i guess we do different things on the internet
Saaaame. Either they didn't intend to release this for Big Sur, or they've temporarily pulled it because of the crash a few people have mentioned.Doesn't work for me. The Big Sur download is just a 243 byte .dmg file that obviously fails to mount

I have the same issue and it doesn’t show up in Software Update for me under 11.4. I wonder if they pulled it for some reason.Doesn't work for me. The Big Sur download is just a 243 byte .dmg file that obviously fails to mount
Opening them one by one again ?is there a way to migrate my 100+ open tabs from safari to the tech.preview?
macOS Snappiereywell it’s snappier for one thing…..
well, some years ago one could just simply copy over the contents of Library/Safari - but that's not working anymore. doing it by hand - sounds exhausting.Opening them one by one again ?
Thank you. That's good news.Yes. Under Preferences... > Advanced > Never Use Background Color in Toolbar.
You aware that if you hold Command and click, it'll do that?Don't get me wrong Safari has issues for me.. or right click that book mark in a drop down menu and choose open in a new tab.
