Apple Releases Second OS X Yosemite Public Beta, iTunes 12 Update

I get an error 1004 when trying to download the beta 2 from the App Store, anyone else having this problem?

You have to turn it back on again in System Preferences > Sound. It's disabled by default.

It is on the albums page. However, the albums page used to be sorted by Artist Name and now it is sorted by Album Name.

Sorry, read your post wrong... that's odd. Like the other person said, it says "All Albums" but it is actually sorted by artist name. No clue why yours isn't maybe, try restarting iTunes?

iTunes 6 is almost 10 years old, could explain why.

In the last few dozen iTunes updates I've noticed nothing that makes it work any better or more efficiently on my PC (not iMac). It's clunky, slow and in dire need of a modern update, I doubt this is it...

Not only that, the last update made iTunes load sooooooooo slowly.
Before the last upgrade, iTunes would start and be ready to play a song in 2-3 seconds.
After the upgrade, when iTunes starts, my mouse turns to the wait icon and I can't play a song for about 10 seconds.
If you search iTunes loading slow, you will find it's not an isolated issue.

Question. I now have iCloud Drive listed in Finder. When I go there, there are some folders:

Automator
Preview
QuickTime Player
Script Editor
TextEdit

What are these folders for? When I open them it just says "iCloud Script Editor you can move your existing documents to iCloud by dragging them here from the finder or other apps.

I don't do any script editing and don't see any way of deleting this folder and don't get what these other folders are for. Are we going to be stuck with these folders all the time? I realize it's a beta, I just would like to know if anyone has any idea.

I tried creating a new folder in iCloud Drive called "Documents" and it said the name Documents is already taken?

When in album view there is a sort option last in the list that allows you to set primary and secondary sort criteria.

I think (Pretty sure) that the reason is that those programs can safe directly to iCloud, from within the app.

I just tested a call using my MacBook Air as well as tested sending a text message via the iMessage app. Those 2 seem to be working again for me but I am not getting the notification on my dock for the handoff, but at least its sending the message and making the calls.

iPhone 5 Beta 5 and MacBook Air Public Beta 2.

Final Cut runs on DP6 so it will run on Beta 2.
