They still haven’t fixed the spotlight search for an App and then drag to screen for quick split screen logic. It’s better than Beta 1 (Public) which made the app icon completely disappear but it still doesn’t work. It’s my most used feature for productivity .

I picked up a lightly used (purchased late Jan 2019) 2018 11" iPad pro last week. The guy I purchased it from said he had no problems with Beta iPadOS on it but I'm still unsure about making that jump. I did the beta thing years ago on one of my iPhones and hardly any of the apps worked correctly. It was so frustrating.
At the same time, this iPad isn't replacing a previous iPad, so I'm learning iOS12 for iPad and then I'm going to have to learn iPadOS in the fall. Oh well, it was too good of a deal to pass up and I'm sure I'll make due.

Is anyone else having troubles navigating the new HealthKit update? I liked having a calendar across the top that I could either scroll through for a date or click on the back button and it would show the actually months with days so you choose your date. When apps tell me to update HealthKit permissions it just goes to the main page of HealthKit and not the page we used to have that let us toggle on and off the correct information to be available. Any help from the thread if they have used this would be grateful.

There doesn't seem to be a day-to-day browser any more.

That still exists — top right, tap your profile pic, Privacy → Apps, tap an app.

I have tried public beta 1 and I try now public beta 2. It’s for me definitely faster. It boots faster. Also I am very glad with several improvements (notes, messages, photos and reminders).
The biggest issue for me now is that the settings app does not work at all! Wenn I started it, it crashes after 2-3 seconds.
Who does have this same issue as well? I have an iPhone 7.

If you haven't joined the public beta yet: don't

it's still pretty rough. alot of apps don't work correctly (or at all)

I’m running it on my primary devices. iPhone Xs Max and iPad Pro 11” and I’ve had a few issues here and there but nothing major, not enough to deter a user that really wants to try it. Public beta 2 has already addressed quite a few issues.

So far the Beta has been great. My only issue is it seems that USB connectivity is not working. When I first updated I was able to connect my external SSD and add and remove files from it via the Files app. Now, when using a USB 3 connection kit I no longer see my drive, nor my audio devices for composing music.
