I understand your point. But my iPhone 5 with 8.0.2 can hook to my home wifi with no problem. And my home wifi settings have not changed since I got my iPhone 5. And in #23 post at https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1794787/ you can see apple has already admitted the wifi connection issue on iPhone 6.

You basically didnt read what I just put. Maybe they had some weirdo code previously to deal, with just your broken implementation. But, somehow reverted to standards in this release. Probably because the hardware changed and then had to rewrite the drivers.

IF your phone does that EVERYWHERE for you and not for everyoen else, then its a hardware issue, if it does it, in 1/50 WIFI access point, it is a rare implementation issue on your access router that need to be dealt with even if it means Apple codes to that quick (they wont do it if this is very rare though).

If it does it on most WIFI access point, but not all and not for every phone, then it is a major bug in their Wifi implementation. Doubt this is the case here.

BTW, I know ten people with the 6 and 6+ and none have this issue./

Yosemite seems to have some problems with boot partitions and multiple drives, at least on some Mac minis. My system boots Mavericks from internal drive and Yosemite and a separate Mavericks partition from external drives. Yosemite updates lose track of which partition to use in some cases.

Apple tried to tell me this was not possible, until I sent them iPhone photos of the screens. Now they want details...

I was forced to do a fresh install to get the internal drive to boot again. At least now i know it's a problem with yosemite. Thanks
