At the moment no gfx card ships with thunderbolt or USB-C video port. And LG UltraFine 5K display requires two DisplayPort channels over a single Thunderbolt. A proprietary Apple solution that doesn't work with anything else in the whole world, but costs a ton of money!

AMD's new RX 7000-series cards ship with USB-C ... Nvidia ditched it with RTX 3000-series unfortunately (2080 Ti was the last one)

Found a Studio Display bug today. All the audio in videos sounded slower and deeper. Switched the audio output back to Mac speakers and then back to display speakers fixed it.

Yeah, if I leave the Mac sleeping the display is still ‘on’, if I leave anything in the ports on the back of the display it remains ‘on’ even if disconnected from the Mac. The only way to sleep the display properly is to totally unplug everything. I have a laptop tho so I don’t know if this practice is the same with a Mini or Studio.
Do you means the display fans continues to work in sleep mode? Try to turn off "Hey Siri" option in Mac settings.

Can anyone tell me if the fans in the Studio Display are still always on after this firmware update even if the connected Mac is sleeping? I have this display in my bedroom and it is annoying during the night, so I have to turn off my Mac. Thanks.
Try to turn off the "Hey, Siri" option in Mac settings.

You can. In Audio MIDI Setup.app, create a Multi-output device that contains both sets of Display speakers.

What's wrong with the webcam? It's perfectly good for zoom calls, etc.
You may consider it to be good but when I compare it to my iMac it’s not as sharp as the imac so I am using my iPhone 13 in continuity mode. I think the camera is adequate but not good. I appreciate the dual speaker tip but when I create a midi device with both displays as speakers I can no longer control volume with the keyboard and have to go to each speaker independently to raise or lower the volume. Not useful for me…
