So I called the Apple Store where my display has been being repaired, asked to speak to a manager and told them the situation. They agreed its taking too long and replaced the display with a brand new one. Only thing I couldn't take it home in the box so had to carry it out the store in my hands. Happy to have it back though. Thanks to everyone for following along.
Here's the real question. Have you had to upgrade the software on it yet? ;)

Funny you mention that. I literally just clicked on software update and nothing popped up. So will see. Will report back

So mine seems to have developed an issue. The audio just gets replaced by static noise. A restart fixed it the first couple of times, but now it seems to keep happening. Was looking for a software update, but the one I have (15.5 build 19F80) was supposed to be the fix for audio issues....

Contact Apple support, you're under the 1 year warranty even if you didn't purchase AppleCare+

Didn’t fix everything, just one thing. So we wait for the other things to get patched.
