i didn't realize when Apple said "bring features of iOS : Back to the Mac" They really meant it, and all of it.

The force is strong in this one.

Can’t wait. A return to quality and meaningful innovation. (Or so I hope)

I'm not sure if I'm paranoid, but this seems to be even faster than public beta 2. I have a 2014 iMac and the user interface is instant. iTunes loads before one icon hop.

LOL...I have a late 2014 5K myself and you are correct...iTunes does load now before an icon hop completes!

Is Dashboard broken somewhat for everybody? Now it crashes when opening the third pane of the Calendar widget which shows the current days events, holidays, etc. Also, the widgets have a black extended background around the edges that is still present in this beta. Is Apple intentionally trying to make it buggier with each release until it dies off or what? I still like to use it for quick Weather, Calendar, Stock, and Sticky Note widget viewing. I know most of this can be viewed in the Notification Center as well, but I still prefer to use Dashboard most of the time.

I get repeated crashes of /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AssistantServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/assistantd since this beta update. did not happen with the old version... :(

Well, so much for improving speed. kernel_task still eating up gobs of processor usage.

If anything, it's worse.

Out of curiosity: is Siri or Dictation working for any of you in this build?

Booting into safe mode worked, though the login screen was behaving erratically.

expected behavior. only the basic graphic drivers are loaded in this case.

What are the known issues with third-party software and bugs, does someone keep a publicly available list?

I don't test beta's but based on what I've read, OS X Mojave seems ready to go right now.

Does this beta make things any faster compared to the last one?

I desperately hope Mojave final release isn't as sluggish as the beta is.

On 2018 MBP with Touch Bar you cannot change brightness and external displays get no signal with this update, so beware.

Has anyone tried Virtual Box with this latest beta? Unfortunately, I couldn't get my VMs running on the last 2 betas. Thanks.

I'm not sure about that. I'm having a slew of issues still not fixed (but sent in to the feedback app). For instance, iTunes doesn't seem primed for Mojave yet, in fact it is freezing up (beach ball) when I try to simply change a track. Also having a bunch of sound issues when using my airpods for items like Join Me, Discord, Skype, etc. My messages all show numbers or apple ids and not their names (this switches back and forth). While it is probably way better than other betas I have done in the past, some of the most important things I use have been problematic with Mojave for some strange reason. Will hope with each update we get closer though.

And I still cannot run VMs via Oracle's VirtualBox. Last 2 betas did not allow it. Hoping this beta does.

Same here. 2018 MBP - cannot change brightness, but a reboot did change from MAX to about half brightness. Anyone know what build number they have for todays update? Mine does not seem to have changed. I'm at 18A336e - which I installed on Monday of this week.
