And I still cannot run VMs via Oracle's VirtualBox. Last 2 betas did not allow it. Hoping this beta does.

Yuck... that is no good. I also am having trouble with copy and pasting items... seems there is an issue with the clipboard? UGHHHH! Had it since the first build and still have it today. What is odd is how I am having issues with a lot of Apple things... or at least items that appear on Apple's end, like AirPod and AirPlay 2 support. Maybe like someone mentioned it has to do with the drivers not all implemented yet.

I have a couple of issues with the beta as well, and my guess would also be drivers that need updates. I just got the 2018 MacBook and I cannot use any external monitor, and I cannot adjust the brightness on the internal display at all. I reported through the feedback app, but I'm sure apple is already aware.

I always install betas to a separate volume, so I can just reboot to the Sierra volume and check back on the beta after the next update. No harm done. Can't wait to use dark mode full time though!

WOW! That is bonkers... especially for the new MBP! But, it somehow doesn't surprise me... I'm sure the two were built separately and now they are playing catch up in Mojave. I have the 2017 MBP with Touchbar. I am just surprised I am having issues with Applecentric things like my AirPods... and I never had these issues on High Sierra. Not complaining just fascinated. Normally in the betas my issues are with other software and their devs needing to update. Feels a bit different this beta.

I am having a issue with the latest beta. Siri does work! all I am getting is this.

I am also having a new issue with this Beta. Microphone support in any browser or browser based App is really bad. Any video conferencing like Atlassian Stride or Google Meet has crazily distorted Sound so that nobody understands me.

Yep... had this issue since first build. At first I thought it was either a browser issue or something but like others have mentioned, it's pretty universal (not a software specific thing) which leads me to believe a driver issue... and I'm using airpods or built in stuff.

Anybody noticing an issue with Mail searches? I get no results regardless of the searched criteria or mailbox. Upon entering first letter the results disappear. Also noticed Spotlight searches (CMD+Spacebar) don't search all apps such as Contacts. Using a 2016 MBP here.

I'm having issues with Airpods. Can't play anything in them.
As soon as I connect, there is no sound and iTunes freezes. All apps are slow and not responding. I have to reboot.

IINA became very slow. Anyone experiencing the same ?

I see this even after log off - login in. See the sound settings icon. It's blank.

Apple emailed me yesterday. They wanted me to post to them the Siri logs which I did as well as another sys log.

Anyone encountering exceptionally high % CPU from WindowServer and ReportCrash? System gets pretty laggy and slow to response.

Had to either reboot or Force Quit WindowServer, which results in a re-Login. But problem crops up again after a while.

Yikes... looks like this may be the rougher build of the bunch. Happens each beta but holy smokes... hoping for a new update soon (looks like every Monday).

Problem solved. Traced the problem down to the stock Calendar widget in Dashboard.

Can anyone please tell me how I can go back to the previous public beta ?

EDIT - I've tried resetting the AirPods & restarting my mac and all. Please suggest something. I hear the connection establishing sound but after that all silent from. It's working fine with my iPhone but absolutely not working with mac.

Please suggest what should be done.

Overall, this PB3 has been pretty solid, I'm just still experiencing a bug with the dynamic wallpaper. I still haven't seen it shift depending on time of day. Anyone else ran the dynamic wallpaper and got anything different?

It was reported that dynamic wallpaper was working under the Fourth Developer Beta but I can confirm it doesn't work in this Public Beta for me either. Also, there is no option under the Privacy Settings to add dynamic desktop (or wallpaper) to Location Services.

Apologize for naive questions. Do anyone have comparison with El Capitan, in term of battery life, performance and heat? I am considering to upgrade (rMBP 2014) due to metal and dark mode. Thank you.

I have a 2018 15" and I had to revert back to High Sierra after two days.

As others have mentioned here I was unable to change screen brightness, external displays would not work, and I frequently ran into sound issues on YouTube where the sound level would occasionally lower and would sound very tinny after pausing a video and starting it again. Refreshing the base resolved the issue, didn't try another browser though.

If you have a 2018 MacBook I suggest staying away from this beta release.

I got it to work but you have to change the dynamic setting up above once you choose dynamic... mine was stuck in light mode when I needed to select dynamic even though I was in dark mode. Give that a shot?
