I just updated to Beta 3. I'm still noticing an annoying little quirk with the App Switcher and I'm curious if others notice it.

- Double clicking brings up the App Switcher: No problem.
- It displays all recent applications: No problem.
- While in App Switcher view, scrolling to the left and selecting a random app: No problem.
- Double clicking to bring up App Switcher again, the most recent app comes up but moves to the right in a weird, jerky movement. I hate it and it throws me off every time. I've forced closed the wrong before because of this.

Is this a bug or a "feature" of iOS 11?
Its a feature. There is no reason to close apps in iOS so it puts most recently used up close for easy access without having to scroll.

YES! So I'm not the only one who noticed this and HATES it. I don't really force close apps but when do I, I sometimes close the wrong one due to this silly fling to the right. So, this is a bug, right? I hope this isn't an intentional movement.
This made me think about the most interesting man in the world :)

I installed PB3 on my iPhone 7. All good except one issue.

The phone establishes a Bluetooth connection to my car's multimedia system (the R-Link2 system in Renault Kadjar) but it drops the connection almost immediately. It repeatedly connects and disconnects continually, but never for long enough to perform any functions on the phone.

I have reset the phone's network settings, and reset the car system, but to no avail. There are several other BT devices set up, and all have worked fine first time, without even the need to remove the device and add again.

Any ideas? Anyone else encounter similar BT issues?

Brian

Thanks!
3D Touch on Homescreen icons is still awefull. Takes (relatively) forever to pop up the widget. I am on 6s. Anyone else experiencing this because I haven’t read about it. Thx.

Tried it for 5 minutes and had no problem. Am in spain right now and used the German VPN.

I feel your pain. I was having problems with iOS11 (PB1&2)dropping connections with Chevy's MyLink system. The system would play music fine, but there was no metadata, such a song title, artist, etc showing, just a black screen. I tried resetting phone, rebooting MyLink, forgetting all connections and re-pairing, but the issue would be fine for a day or two and then reappear.

I did download PB3 earlier this week, and seemingly magically, all functionality has been restored. Been running it constantly since it's come out and it hasn't missed a beat. It's highly likely that each successive beta is being improved incrementally. I also noticed that the BT connection to my BOSE Soundbar III is much more stable as well.

From reading auto sound forums, BT connectivity is an issue, especially when running Apple betas...

Hopefully yours will eventually stabilize.

Good luck.

Just noticed that opening the AirPods case next to a 10" iPad Pro prompts the AirPods window with battery info to show up. Cool! ...pretty sure this is a new feature.

This existed in iOS 10. How did you check the AirPods battery info beforehand?

Might just be me as I can’t find this mentioned anywhere else but if I try to rearrange a song from a Music playlist,i.e move it up to the play next position the music app crashes every time. Didn’t do this in the last beta2

I really can’t seem to use split screen multitasking very fluidly. I used it in iOS 10 all the time. iOS 11 split screen seems overly complicated and not intuitive. The only part of iOS 10 split screen that was cumbersome to me was when selecting a different app scrolling through choices took a bit of time. Maybe go back to that style but when you swipe down to switch apps have a grid of apps instead of a long scrolling line? Pulling apps from the iOS 11 dock and sliding them over and trying to position just isn’t working for me. The slider bars seem inconsistently placed and odd. The grab handles on top of the window for moving it left and right seem wrong. I’m not normally one to dismiss innovation and change but I think it is heading in a less intuitive direction. Other than that this beta is very smooth for me. I only submitted two minor GUI glitches.

My feedback to Apple regarding do not disturb while driving and the Apple Watch set to wrist detection off. Anyone else having this problem?

Do not Disturb(DND) while driving doesn’t stop notifications going to Apple Watch when set to “wrist detection off”

Iv been using DND for last few betas and as I have tattoo sleeves I have to have my Apple Watch set to wrist detection off(WDO) for it to work as my ink is too dark for the Apple Watch to work out I have a watch on when on my wrist due to the tattoo ink. So I have it set to WDO with this setting as it is when DND is active my Watch still gets the notifications the iPhone doesn’t and DND works as it should. My suggestion is that it defeats the point of DND when it still comes to your Apple Watch and can temp me in looking at my Watch when driving I feel you should look at fixing this issue to make DND a fully working function.

How does battery management look like so far? Any draining issues?

Not long restored to 10.3.3 because battery wasn't very good on iOS 11 beta 2. How was the battery on beta 3?
I installed the latest beta a couple of days back. I do see battery draining quicker than what it was in 10.3.3.
