Apple Releases Updated MagSafe Charger Firmware

After seeing this tread I updated my duo charger via MBA .
It went from : 0.0.2.56 Three lines : Manufacturer , Model Number & Firmware Version
to : 256.0.0.0 Five lines , the same as before + Serial Number & Hardware Version .

I think I also updated my USB-C watch puck but have no idea where to check that ;-)
Can anyone tell me please ?

Didn’t see this back when it came out. My older MagSafe was at 255.0.0.0 and a brand new one I got today said the same on wife’s phone. Plugged them both into my Mac (2015 with usb-a to usb-c adapter) and within a few minutes they both updated. I did have to plug and unplug each a few times but it worked.

How I can update mine without Mac?

Yes, you can update it with any laptop or pc. You should following below step:
1- install VMware virtual machine software
2- install last version of mac os sonoma in virtual machine.
3- Connect the device to the laptop and choose connect to the virtual machine.
4- after a few minutes it’s automatically updated.

I tested this way and that worked.
