Are there any release notes attached? or the normal generic performance and improvements message?

I just did the OTA update... And I've got the error 56.

What the expletive.

Probably lost all my Uni notes too.
Feel sorry for you. :(
That's totally inexcusable of Apple.

Edit: Maybe they are doing a sneaky recall of a certain piece of hardware. Flushing them out, so to speak.

I'd love to know what the root of the problem was. I updated my 9.7 Pro the first time around, without a problem. I didn't do it OTA, I did it by wire.

Why only this one device, and what exactly was getting stuck?

... However I do think it’s funny when you get the, ‘it must be you, millions of other users have used it and are having no issues’, and then Apple fix ‘it' in an update.
You do realize that those two situations aren't contradictory, right? With the number of devices out there, each configured differently, it's quite possible for there to be a problem that millions of users don't encounter but which Apple still needs to address.

That's the challenge in testing stuff like this-- there is no way to test all the scenarios.

I hadn't seen anyone say "it must be you" to someone who had their device bricked, I suspect you're adding that bit for color.

I was hoping it might fix some problems with widgets on the 9.7. The battery indicator for the pencil disappears even while still connected so you can't see how much battery the pencil has left or when it's full. Also, existing widgets disappeared and are no longer available to be added. I can add one not previously added and it does show up.

I was only able to fix be resetting all settings but it happened again and seems the same after the update.

Anyone else?

Did the older version download to you iPP before Apple turned off the spigot? I'm wonder if you accidentally installed the older version thinking your iPP would install the new one? Either way it's a bad on Apple for not assigning this update with a new # so the iPad would recognize it as new or better warning people to delete the old update if its on your iPP.

I would recommend that people go to their settings and in Storage and iCloud go to Manage Storage and look for iOS 9.3.2. If you see it click on it and delete. Your iPad will then d/l the new, updated version.

Does this fix anyone that currently has a bricked iPad. When I had my bricked iPad, it failed to install any updates..iOS 9.3.1 even (this included using DFU mode).
