I put the final version last week on my 7 and the already questionable battery life nose-dived for what it’s worth. I’m getting 6-8 hours a charge; yes, as in about 10 hours of expected battery life missing consistently every day.
Agreed. I'm tempted to hold off on this one and wait and see what everyone's experience is like first. This is the only update released today that I likely will not install. I like the OS as it is. Easy for me to use for what I use it for.
If you are referring to night mode on watch faces, I believe you have the option of on, off or auto.I am going to guess that there is still no user control for the ambient light sensor, meaning there is no way to turn it off. Is that correct?
It's not possible I'm afraid! you need iOS 17 for watchOS 10.Call me koo-koo, but I still like my ancient iPhone X (works fine for me, size, screen etc). But apparently now I can’t update my watch S8 because I need ios17 (which no works on iPhone X). Anyone know of another method to update watch?
go to the Settings app on your watch (not the watch app on the iPhone) and initiate update from thereI'm trying to install this update but it's taking a long time. I hate watch updates. It's 2023 and there isn't an alternative way to install watch updates? Apple should "innovate" a way.
there isn't oneCall me koo-koo, but I still like my ancient iPhone X (works fine for me, size, screen etc). But apparently now I can’t update my watch S8 because I need ios17 (which no works on iPhone X). Anyone know of another method to update watch?
