Or you can follow this link: https://watchaware.com/post/20789/hack-music-apple-watch-podcast-app. It will show you how to put podcasts on your watch. It works great!

That sounds like a very painful and not fun process, not sure why anyone would choose to boot up a Mac to add a podcast to the watch that way, the WatchPlayer app is really well designed and lets you get new episodes on the fly over LTE when you are out and about rather than needing to first find a Mac that then uploads it to your account etc.

Haven’t had the issue you are describing, so far no issues with the radio app it works fast over LTE etc.

Does anyone know how to download podcasts to my apple watch that I can bluetooth to my wireless EarBuds? I hate having to bring my phone on a run just for podcasts.

Download the WatchPlayer app - (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/watch-player/id1170672458?mt=8&uo=4&at=1000lxWo)

The app is a full featured podcast client for the watch, once installed you can do everything from the watch: download new episodes over LTE or WiFi (make sure your phone is on airplane mode and not connected to your watch, otherwise the download will be very very slow!), you can browse a podcast directory to add them to your list, you can search the Apple Podcasts directory with voice or scribble, and the developer is very responsive and continues to add new features very quickly.

I’m able to download episodes of Accidental Tech Podcast in about 30 to 50 seconds, it is super fast when operating away from the iPhone.

The installation took quite a while for me. This is my first AW (3) so i don’t have anything to compare it to. Probably took around 20-30min? Or maybe it felt that long. But i was getting worried that something went wrong because it took way longer than a phone update.
Thanks for the input. Yeah my Watch always takes far longer than my iPhone 7. I would say on average the original Apple Watch takes 45-60min or longer sometimes. It’s almost archaic tech by now I guess.

Will the apple watch series one will receive the update?

Second, I have two options I can get iphone 6s 128 gb

Or

I can get iphone se 16 or 128 gb plus Apple watch series one

Which is better for second option i might need to pay $50 extra

Any Series 1 users getting good results from this?

watchOS 3 was really fast on my Series 1, however my watch has felt slow and laggy on WatchOS 4.

It seems that in 2017, Apple decided to adapt the MS strategy of making every significant update of Windows slow your pc down so much that you wanted to buy a new one.

Either that, or Apple are being way too aggressive with pushing the platform forward but still trying to support ‘bare minimum’ hardware profiles (ie like series 1 and 0).
