Maybe I misunderstand you, but the rainbow option is there for the faces, Here's the CA face

I don’t have the rainbow option, running watchOS 6.2.5 on the watch iOS 13.4.1 on the phone. I do have the new pride watch faces, but only on the watch itself. You must be running iOS 13.5, which is currently in GM and therefore still only available to users participating in the developer and public beta programs.

Guess will update tonight, least some more color added to some watch faces.
Cool, but note that unless you’re running the iOS 13.5 beta or GM on the paired iphone you will only find the new pride watch faces on your watch and won’t have the rainbow option for the other watch faces. iOS 13.5 has not yet been publicly released.

Looks cool

Minor issue with the bottom complication, emailed dev.. he has been amazing

DOH! Gotcha, you'll have it soon!

Sadly the Rainbow gradient face is missing from the official release today. As are the rainbow options for California face from beta 5. Leave it to Apple to omit what so many were excited about. Oh wel.
I literally rushed to update just to get the rainbow California face, and it’s gone :(:(:(:(

maybe you also need 13.5?

You do. However, you should still be able to set the new pride watch faces from the watch itself. Setting them from the iphone does require iOS 13.5 too.

They’ll come to non-beta users with iOS 13.5. A couple of beta users running the iOS 13.5 GM already confirmed it does include them earlier in this thread.

Does the S3 get these faces? Can't stand that they are neutering this device.. it seriously runs fine..
It should get them, but without the full screen mode option. And it should get the rainbow option too, but only for the numerals mono and numerals duo watch faces, as the other two watch faces that get it (california and gradient) are exclusive to series 4 and later.

I was wondering where that gradient face was...

Just updated on my Nike S3 and am seeing the first new Pride watch face (rainbow stripes) but am not sure where to find the the other two (rainbow rings and gradient). Are those not available to the S3? Also I don’t see the rainbow dots available to my Nike Analog watch face. Is that one also not available to the S3?

They don't appeal to me. There are many colour combinations that are equally unappealing.
Then don't use them. Apple includes lots of watch faces because not everyone likes every watch face. I'm not sure why adding some new Watch faces that you don't like makes the device less appealing.

Hi everyone. I just installed the update on my Apple Watch Series 4. I am unable to find the new Pride Nike Apple Watch Face (Analog). Can anyone help? Thank you. 🏳️‍🌈
I have the same question. I love that new Nike pride watch face. Is it not available to me because my Apple Watch isn't a Nike model? I ordered the Nike pride band, will the Watch somehow sense that band and make the Nike pride watch face available? (sorry if that's a stupid question) Has anyone successfully found the new Nike pride watch face and put it on their Apple Watch?

The new pride faces are included as options within the existing pride faces. Just open each of them, digital and analog, and switch the style from 2019 to 2020. Note that you have to do this on the watch unless you already have iOS 13.5 on the paired iphone. Also note that on series 3 the pride watch faces have no full screen option like they do on later models.

As for the rainbow option on other watch faces, that requires iOS 13.5 on the paired iphone and since you have the series 3, the rainbow option would only be available for you in the numerals mono and duo watch faces (gradient and california watch faces have it too, but those are exclusive to series 4 or later). I have no idea what the story is with the Nike pride watch face since I have the regular apple watch, but I bet that might require iOS 13.5 on the iphone as well.

Nike watch faces have always been exclusive to Nike models. If you have the regular apple watch you just get the standard pride watch faces, not the Nike one.

I have a Nike Apple Watch Series 4 and can't seem to find the new Nike Pride Analog Version as well as the California Pride version. :(

Have you updated the paired iphone to iOS 13.5 (meaning the GM since public version is not yet available)? it’s a requirement for the pride option in the California and other watch faces, and presumably also for Nike users to get their exclusive pride watch face.

I wish the article had actually mentioned that if that’s the case.

Time to participate in the nightmare experience that is updating the software on the Apple Watch. I really don’t understand why it has to be such a convoluted process. With the phone and iPad it’s start update check later and it’s done. The watch updates always seem to be try, fail. Try again, error. Try again, restarting download. Why?

I guess YMMV. For me the update was just as quick and seamless as the iphone or ipad updates. Besides, now watch updastes can be installed directly from the watch, which is why this one was released by itself today. The only thing I hope is that they remove soon the requirement for the watch to be on its charger. They don’t require the iphone and ipad to be connected to power for updating, why do they require it for the watch?

I exaggerated slightly. This update was actually pretty straight forward for me as well. Still I wish the watch was entirety independent of the phone, it’s my understanding that even when you download directly to the watch you have to have the phone nearby to complete the install process. Plus needing to be on the charger when your watch is fully charged seems overly cautious. I do really enjoy the watch by the way.
