No issues with update so far; however, as expected my wish didn't come true.Downloading this update right now in hopes it unexpectantly fixes my issue of some third-party apps shortcuts not working.

Good. You shouldn’t be driving with earbuds in.My only problem with WatchOS9 on my Series 5 is that the microphone now constantly thinks that wind is too loud for my ears to tolerate.
On a nice day, driving 40mph with my window open and my arm on the door, I'm getting Loud Noise alerts.
Good. You shouldn’t be driving with earbuds in.
I don’t know why this became so common over the last 10 years or so, but I see it all the time even though it’s illegal here.
Sorry, I thought you were referring to AirPods. Nevermind.Did you read the question or are you just being snarky?
I used to have the same issue driving in my convertible with the top+windows down. No earbuds in.
Issue seems to be resolved with 9.0.2. Battery life & general performance seems to be much better too (Series 5 Ti).
Thanks for confirming. I did a Fitness+ strength training class and after 30 min it logged 22 active calories (compared to over 200 in previous ones not long ago).Strength training today on 9.0.2 recorded similar results to past. Battery burn rate improved too for similar exercise duration
I did notice how fewer BPM data points your screen shot had vs the update prior. I've had updates in past ruin HR, so maybe its a watch specific woe right now? Thanks for confirming. In speaking to tech support, they ran diagnostics and said the watch was fine, but after asking me to get current heart rates, the watch wouldn't provide data, and errored out. They kept thinking I was wearing the watch wrong, or had arm tattoos, or loose skin.
I did a run yesterday after updating to 9.0.2 and the problem was fixed for me. To be clear, the Spotify issue I’m referring to is the one where it would only play one song and then stop. On my run today it did repeat the first two songs in the playlist but then seemed to be fine without me doing anything. I think the issue was the beginning of my run was in a known dead zone. I was on the beta from B1 so it’s been a while since I could successfully use Spotify over LTE. It’s nice to have it back.So this doesn’t appear to have fixed my Spotify streaming issue!? Anyone else found the same thing!? Definitely not working when I’m out running and using the cellular connection on the watch…
For me it made it better. Performance is also much improved.Lots were having battery issues with 9.0 myself included, I’m taking it this update made it worse?
After speaking with the tech support, they asked some basic questions about how I wear the watch and ran some diagnostics. We noticed that when I was in the heart rate app on the watch, it wasn't catching my heart rate and would error out often. We then unpaired the watch and started it as a new one. This solved it and the guy on the phone suggested I don't go back to the old version of my watch as there was something wrong with the settings or something.I did notice how fewer BPM data points your screen shot had vs the update prior. Good luck!
Yeah the issue is something with sleep tracking. If I don’t use it and just let Watch charge overnight it easily would go all day, I’m putting it on the charger at night at 60% still left. Now if I use sleep tracking up in the morning 80 something percent and it drains all day. This update has really hurt my S6 overnight battery drain. I can charge to full before bed and now wake up at 80% battery. It used to be 87% to 90% overnight. My wife noticed same on her SE.

I'm not driving with earbuds in. I *never* drive with earbuds in.Good. You shouldn’t be driving with earbuds in.
